My very first metal detector was a Cscope bfo100 I think, or maybe a 50, not sure it was way back in 1978 when I was a spotty teenager, I found many good finds with it, I also did a lot more digging then, simpler times.
So is the cs2mx the same machine as the OLD cs3mx? I notice cscope have released the cs3mxi with new coil so wondered if the older cs3mx was been renamed to the cs2mx?
+Magoo Magoon Hi, the CS2MX is virtualy the same detector as the older CS3MX-i, the main difference is that the CS2MX does NOT have the interchangeable search head option.

Metal Detecting Guys great machines ive got the older cs2mx red label with the dual discrimination, found a viccy penny and a buckle at great depths dual discrim is awesome wonder why they stopped putting it on the 2mx you have to buy the 4mxi for alot more to get the dual discrim great machines anyway
My first machine and I found a hammered on my second go!! People say they go years without finding any. I'm stoked

same as mate, i dug everything and found loads more than i do now,
good afternoon. the threshold tone on my detector is almost inaudible from the beginning. what to do with it, a new detector was purchased this week.
there is a threshold tone, but in the speakers it is very quiet and not heard at arm's length. I previously had c scope such holes were not.

C.Scope Metal Detectors the original 3mx didn’t have interchangeable coil either.
