Man I couldnt agree more, Ive moved out of the state about months ago and find myself back on this video just to realize how great they were. There is nothing like it where I live now, so i feel you! Glad you dropped by, hope you stick around. Cheers!
Very true! I remember reading somewhere about the company who did the carbon work for the CSL intake and the McLaren F1. He mentioned that the thickness of the carbon fiber walls was critical to the way it sounded
In fact, the older m3 engine (S50B3X Euro) was essentially one bank of the s70/2 used in the F1. So its actually based on the f1 engine, not the other way around. This engine has different architecture to the older unit.
This looks straight out of a video game. That scenery is breathtaking and the road looks so fun. And yeah we definitely dont want you flying off no mountain road lmao. Gotta push it but know when to chill at the same time which you display here
I love this road! Its alot more technical than some of the other ones Ive shown, but is really rewarding. Youve got to really work for it! You ever make it this way ill be sure to show you 💪
Learning the road and doing a cite “lap” can go a long way to ensuring a safe ride. Even on roads you know, potholes can appear, rocks could be in the way.
Yes it is the joy to watch the environment the car is driving through but not the way this guy drives needs lessons before he steps into a 6-speed manual m3! It really pains me to watch this
Great video. Thanks for making it and working so hard to replicate the sound. Really helpful for people like me that are considering a carbon intake for their E46 M3.
Hey whats up! Im glad you enjoyed the video, its definitely one of the more expensive mods to do, but its been well worth it. Ive had a CSL intake for a few years now and love every bit of it! Cheers!
yes sir I agree with you! Love this interior! This is just the stock Imola Interior. Mine was grey originally but I picked these up shortly after buying the car and swapped them in. You can alwasy keep an eye out for used seats, or go with new leather from "BMW restored seats".
Hey man, I needed that! Life’s been crazy this last year, recently just moved out of my home state too! Tbh I’ve been wanting to make a video for a long time. Appreciate you dude, hope you stick around! 🤝🙏
@@joshthebavarian better question: what did you use to get that POV? Did you have a sort of head strap for an iPhone? Would love to take some videos like this
When i recorded this video (actually all of my videos) Im still on the OEM stock exhaust! You are pretty much hearing ALL intake noise. Crazy right! And no unfortunately its not a direct bolt on for the 330ci, you will need at least the S54 throttle bodies which can be done with the "rabid racing" adapters. Cheers!
Hey! Yeah Brenden is right there is a bit of a range. On the lower end of the spectrum, a convertible without most of the maintenance, maybe about 15k depending on transmission and color variations. On the higher end, good color with maintenance records, 30-40k isnt uncommon. Country is a big factor as well! In germany and UK they are generally alot cheaper.
dude yes! Thats one thing ive always loved about when your coming off and on throttle, you can hear it gasping and literally breathing in all that air. Cheers dude!
Hey whats up dude! In this video im using a ZOOM SGH-6 Shotgun mic. Works great but if you cant spring for one, ive actually used an old cell phone and it worked pretty well! Check out my first POV driving video, I recorded the audio with a cell phone. Cheers mate!
😂😂 yeah man! haha it was definitely a hard decision to make, I could have afforded a lot of other mods with the same amount of money! You have to be a little crazy to spend that much money on an intake, but luckily for you im a little crazy lmao!
I'm watching your video and the scenery is nice and all this and the car is a gorgeous car but it's up to the driver to make it happen if I give you the best violin in the world available today you have to be a virtuoso able to play this to accentuate its abilities! The way you shift is a sad story you always downshifting and up shifting what's with that you know if you're going to do video you have to know what you're doing with the 6-speed especially a BMW M3 take some lessons from a professional who knows😊 is my recommendation before you go and make any more videos like this one😅😢
Keep this up man, makes me want want one everytime I hear the airbox
HeCk yes brother, appreciate that. And hey, treat yourself king! 🫡😂🤙
Only thing I miss about Cali is those roads!! Spent many days in the canyons on in my car(s) and on my bike - absolute bliss up there. 👍👍

Try living in a God forsaken Florida and have an M3 to drive to nowhere!
the f1 and this engine were both made by bmw and actually use similar design so probably why they sound similar

Best CSL intake sound clip on TH-cam! 💪
hey I appreciate that! Really trying to put out some quality!
What a masterpiece, amazing videos man, loving the work!
Appreciate it my dude! More coming shortly so stick with us!
One of the best videos for this car !!
Appreciate it ! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!
That thing was handling corners better than the E92 , also It sounds nice & not raspy
Dude it handles great! Ive never driven an E92 through the canyons but Im sure that the extra weight can be felt. Cheers brother!
What an amazing car. Beautiful ride you got there, must be a joy to ride in thouse mountains.

@@lotusjp What is he doing wrong?
This video really have me looking for a e46. Great video man love it!
haha love to hear that! You can never go wrong with a E46. Cheers dude!
Yes you should look for an M3 but you should also learn how to drive the 6 speed properly not like this guy does!
Great video. Thanks for making it and working so hard to replicate the sound. Really helpful for people like me that are considering a carbon intake for their E46 M3.

Bro, the corner at 7:58 is scary shit.
dude right! I sometimes come back to this video and that corner gets me every time, it was definitely a "pucker" moment
What was this recorded with? Insane quality
Just an iPhone 11, simple but effective!

That thing sounds so nice you what exhaust set up you running and you reckon that air intake would work on a e46 330ci convertible

That sounds so good!!!! ughhhghhhgg😤🤤
it does! one of my favorite sounds ever. Cheers dude, glad you liked the video!
It's so hard to find a video where the microphone is in the cabin rather than in the engine bay.
My newest video is all in-cabin noise! But my good mic wasnt working so its just iPhone audio. Ill make sure to make another with the good Mic 💪
also what canyon is this im in LA and NEED TO KNOW!!!
Hey how much do these manual m3 E46’s go for? I heard that they have been going up in value in the past year.
Depends mileage, 6speed are more pricey than SMG, if the "big 3" have been addressed - bulletproofs the model's weaknesses, and condition.

Hi Josh nice Videos und beatiful Car 😎 keep it up great Content 💪
Hi there, I appreciate it my friend! A new video is coming soon, so see you then. Cheers! 😎
We’re can a red interior
S2000 or this on those roads for maximum fun factor?
@@dennischen8887 I’d say they’re pretty similar in that regard, But the S2000 might be funner since you can put the top down!
I mean yeah the f1 has a bmw v12 in it , sounds logical to me 🤷🏻♂️
Right!? I imagine they actually have a lot more in common than we think. Thanks for droppin in dude!
Bruh wtf why are you not uploading in a while 😓
haha sorry my dude New video coming real soon, already have the first half edited. See you soon! 💪
I'm sad because I can't afford one of this, plus is my birthday, anyway, some day I'll have one, great pov, and Happy birthday to me 🤍
Happy Birthday my friend!! You WILL have one of these in the future, I am praying this for you. Happy birthday!
What wheels are those?
Okay but how did you get this pov angle?
It’s just an iPhone 0.5 wide angle 🤙
how do you capture the speed tho when i try filming in wide angle it dont work :(
It looks like you didn't learn how to speak English either it doesn't work not it don't work....
What's the name of thoses rims and the dimensions ? I need them for my e46
Hey thanks for dropping by! These are 18x10 "Apex Arc-8's". They are great style and fit the E46 perfectly.

What is the exhaust setup? aftermarket section 3 + res delete??
Naw dude! It’s a fully stock exhaust, section 3 is stock too. What your hearing is the CSL intake! The intake makes the exhaust louder too
@@joshthebavarian like the eventuri intake? or an oem intake?
