Fun fact: Sepang had only 1 layout change (If we can call it a layout change, let's be honest), in which a resurfacing approved by Dorna Sports (The owners of MotoGP) made the last turn off-camber in an attempt to try encouraging the drivers and riders to take different racing lines and help with water draining (A really important thing in Sepang, with the infamous seasonal downpours). It wasn't exactly well-recieved with drivers and riders. Other than that, minor adjustments to facilities and improved run-off areas, nothing really changed

Our locals are more interested in motorcycle racing scene due to the culture, plus unlike Singapore, we fail to add on more attraction points and events to retain the fans from coming back for Sepang race. I hope Formula One return to Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit for next year or soon and become of Night Race at Malaysia just like Singapore Grand Prix at Night Race
it would also be awesome if Tier 2 circuits could be added or historic circuits like Long Beach/Fuji Speedway (any Pole Position fans here?). By Tier 2 circuits, I'm biased and want Road America added for funsies :3

You Cannot Return Sepang in Calendar. This Circut begin hosted in 1999. in 2018 will Sepang wil not return. This Circut is Closed due to very rain.

My 2nd favourite track next to Spa. A very complete track and provide good racing. Too bad no one had the money to keep this track on the calendar.
One of the better Hermann tilker tracks, loved the double right hander . But Istanbul and turn 8 still my favorite by him.

Evidence that Tilke is a really lazy designer: he just drew variations of the same idea for T1 complexes in Sepang, Shanghai and Sakhir.
Only brought it back because it worked here, why would he throw away one of his only great ideas
After he saw how good it was in Sepang, he brought it to Shanghai & Sakhir, and at each track, the flow works beautifully for wheel to wheel racing.
