Dainsleif and kaeya are like two sides of the same coin. They’re not exactly “honorable” about reaching their goals. Both are also shrouded in mystery. Also I don’t think(or remember) why dainsleif suddenly showed up in sumeru in port ormos. Was dainsleif following kaeya? Their first interaction seems sus. Kaeya gave off the vibe “so you finally decided to speak up” and I highly doubt dainsleif just teleported in broad daylight. I don’t think either are “bad guys”, that’s also not how most characters are written in the story. But suspicious and morally grey is definitely spot on. Also how would’ve dainsleif knew to look at this point in time? Oh so many questions 🧐

In genshin, a lot of things stands on the grey side. Khaenri'ah for one example. Gold is second. It's similar how things in the world works. You think someone is a good guy but as you get to know more, they aren't as good as they portray. The same example as how the opposite are. It's nice how genshin flesh out the lore as it is fascinating. It doesn't just tell you the beauty of the world. It also tells you that beauty can also be dangerous. Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I haven't slept yet and it took me almost 20 hours before I had a small meal since yesterday. My mind is bit rusty 😅
I highly believe that Dain knows where we are 24/7. Because there ain't no way he just so "happens" to appears in the same vicinity as us all the time when we embark on these quests. I've felt like this since we first met, and as time goes on, that belief grows stronger. I don't believe in coincidences even though they CAN happen, but with Dain, nope 😂

Dain actually also wanted to find out the loom of fate, which invovles that 'sinner', founder of the abyss order and caribert. We dont know what occured after we 'came back'. Dain probably did use the leylines to 'send us back' reliving our twins memories but it didn't fully give us why our twin give their support. However if we were just looking at the memories, then something involving looking into the mirror (which those afflicted with the curse struggle with) may be a sign our twin was affected by the loom of fate/sinner when exposed to them.

I hope for genshin to give us more concrete story after 4.0 about what actually happened and then setup the lead to the confrontation between Aether and Lumine because so far it’s still breadcrumbs that leaves more questions than answers. I want 4.0 to give us definitive story of what actually happened then the rest of the story to be tying up the ends for the end of the story because we are almost half way through all the nations left

But at the end of the archon quest he said that the sibling never said anything to him about it. Did he actually lie? Or was it because of his erosion that made him forgot?
He explains that he just remembered, he's got some pretty bad erosion so he spends all of his time dedicated to remembering, meaning yay he didn't lie to our face, but also that; great now we cant trust the information he gives us because his erosion made his previous statements invalid whenever he remembers something new.
My theory:when theres a cutscene of travelers twin holding a miror it was actually one of the past that happen to their sibling and our mc just watch everything so we could understand what really happen to that house and the skull where dainsleif find. Another theory: Since every single twin in geshin impact died like albedo, raiden, rukhadevata and more it might bring the same impact to our mc. My fav theory😊

Honestly though this manipulation isn’t necessarily a BAD thing. He was just trying to figure something out, and in the end, he did. Traveler just had a weird dream, and Dain got the info he needed.

Yes! Dainslief is the Boughkeeper with access to Irminsul and has been manipulating and controlling the Traveler since the very beginning. Didn’t Clothar say the person who takes the Abyss has it all? Every single time Dainslief pops up he has to run to check the Ley lines. Then the Traveler goes unconscious, falls out or has visions. Dainslief interrogates the Traveler and runs off with the intel to…the Jester. The Traveler lived with the Jester prior to the fall of Khaenri’ah and both he and Dainslief had time to indoctrinate them into their plan without the Traveler realizing what had happened. (What ever their plan is.) Dianslief is also spying on Kaeya. He met Kaeya back in Mondstadt and had very cryptic words with him. Kaeya is in Sumeru for a specific reason (to find his family?) and realizes Dainslief would rather not have anything to do with him because he is only part Khaenri’ahn. But it is Dainslief’s job, his task to watch Kaeya, as Kaeya must eventually decide for the Abyss, Fatui or friends and family in Mondstadt. I would imagine Focalors and the Fatui will bring more twists and turns into the storyline. Primarily the Jester, Dainslief and maybe the Tsaritsa (somehow not sure the Tsaritsa is really alive) are trying to control the situation for their own ends. Anyway love your content! I realized something. Although The Abyss Order and the Fatui have different approaches and to us we may interpret as evil, they have but one common enemy and that is the Heavenly Principles.
I read another theory that we actually went back in time since we get to control our choices and character. The thing is we went back in time as our sibling thats why we are so shocked when looking in the mirror. I mean, why would our sibling have a memory of being shocked looking at their reflection?

There's one essential thing which is up and front part of this theory that makes it *not* make sense: if Dainsleif had no idea what caused the sibling to switch sides, it's impossible for him to know which period of events recorded in the ley lines hold the answer to begin with, or that giving the Traveler a random set of memories would happen to have the information in question.

There's one essential thing which is up and front part of this theory that makes it *not* make sense:
if Dainsleif had no idea what caused the sibling to switch sides, it's impossible for him to know which period of events recorded in the ley lines hold the answer to begin with, or that giving the Traveler a random set of memories would happen to have the information in question.
Ok, well now we know it was the abyss order who tampered with the leylines cuz Caribert knew about it. lol
