Master craftsman Michael Sarian, Stucco Italiano's distributor in Sweden, demonstrates the application of the lime-based plaster of the Moroccan tradition, Tadelakt.
easily one of my favorite videos on this subject right now. Straight to the point and truly the most helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make this! Grazie
This can be used in a shower. This is my first time coming here. I'm a plasterer, and my customer is asking for a concrete-look finish in his bathroom. Is non-porous suitable?
First of all, thank you! I would say that it is water resistant. Tadelakt is a breathable lime based product. The stone is a riverstone that has been cut. It has a flat smooth side to use for polishing and compressing the material.

From what I've read you can use the Tadlakt for showers as long as you seal it
When do you put the Colour on ?
I've had a little bit of luck trowel burnishing your fine pastellone, can I use a stone on the micro cement as well?
Do you use a soap mix first before polishing to make the surface waterproof?
What product are you using? Is it normal grassello?
Sorry for a very late reply. The product used it Stucco Italiano Tadelakt. You can read about it here: www.stuccoitaliano.com/finish/tadelakt/
Is it a canvas that you put Tadelakt on?
Hi does the tadelak crack over time?
Poor camera angle..
Wanted to show you the gloss. Direct angle won't show the gloss on camera.
