We are living in it this wipe and we fully build it in like + - 20hours from wipe (we are penta group). Its a amazing base. We had some clans jumping on our roof, but when we set up all turrets, its done for them. Ty for this build. Its everything what we love = split loot in bunkers, open core and a lot of peaks to defend online + everyones bedroom! Thank you for this amazing build we love it! :)
Just used this on a monthly server for first week of wipe. It held up against 2 offlines and one online. Two things I want to mention though. 1. When taking attack heli the ladder hatches on the roof break easy so putting wall frames around it and a roof solved that issue. 2. Needs a shooting floor. Other than that, solid build 8/10
I just built this base and its cool but I have to ask, why is it 1 metal layer from open core, I had to atleast pancake to top by filling in that half drop on the roof.

Hey Nine i am trying to build a tanky duo base with at least 2 bunkers to TC and a open 2 de floor for big deployables , and i want it to be no more then 10k metal and 100 HQM upkeep , and tank atleast 40 rockets without externals to protect it as we are not the fastest developing duo and noobish to say the least 😂 , you recon you can make something that would fit that description ? Love the build , those are some nasty peeks from the roof .
Could you try to design a liveable meta farm base? Lots of planter spaces, peak downs, and bunkers for loot? I think it would be a super interesting challenge and would love to see your take on it!
I think you should make a monarch v2! That base is always my go to base and it has never lost a raid for me! I would love to see what you can change/ add to it with all of the new build metas!
Technically speaking this is an updated monarch l, the old footprint is just need good for today's metas too so this is what we got. I've been. I've been using this base for awhile now and still love it
Nice design, just to tell you i still use your VAULT base till this day (2022), just need to upgrade empty compound and online defense a bit, but it still work rly good against offlines ! Would be amazing to see a 2.0 Vault 😂, keep up good work and ty for my favorite base for 2 years !

Love your bases man. You got me intro rust building and have been super inspired. Came up with my first meta base design and its currently 4-0 for onlines, and 3-1 for offlines. Always appreciate the upload
Like the bedroom compound module, since you're spending the extra mats to raise the traingles might as well sneak in a cheeky pixel gap in them. Not sure what the facination with horizontal embrasures is but in my experience they are extememly easy to hold and will get you instantly doubled, hence patrickos. Lastly I think the starter really should be linked with the mobility to oc in some way and the mobilty retakes oc should be better sectioned off so raiders cant easily control all of your chutes if a door is left open. Really like the roof.
Interested to know why you like the roof that is 1 layer from open core after faulting other things like the lack of pixel gap, horiz embrasures, and the starter/oc design in general.
I dont want to sound rude or like I'm a hater because I love your videos and I love your bases, but ill never understand why for a video base builders use symmetry, you only have to build the base once for the video so it might be a drag to do it slower but imagine how it is for us while we're being shot at and grubbed, and then we have to deal with a shootout and go back to the minute in the video we was on, again I love your videos and I'll Definitely be making this base but I wish you guys would think about us who are maybe not as experienced at base building
This base has a strong starter and pretty straightforward footprint. For larger bases, pick one and learn how to build it, practicing beforehand on a build server. Like there are no pixel perfect freehand sections or anything.
If they wouldn’t be using sym this video would be ish 3 times longer so If u wanna sit and watch a building video for 1 and a half hour go ahead. And let’s say u build a base with 3 symmetrical sides u should ish know how to build all sides after watching one side being built
My teammate built this base for us this wipe and holy shit I love it. We've survived the entire wipe so far. No one has been able to successfully raid us.
just takes too much resources and all the externals each are like 1,8k frags and 2k stone thats alot adding all 6 together is like +12k frags and 12k stone. like 18k frags and 18k stone together
@@NineRust sooo the base we built ended up on a blazed vid. The solo boat base vid. We didn't have it fully built yet and we defended against blazed. 😂
So , it took me 6 hours to fully make this, without turrets and electricity and fully furnishating. In quad . For i did watch video and rebuild after :D. I did try this on other wipes thye starter but never finished because of the terrain. The terrain makes the gatehouse and tcs be really high up and then when i make shoting floor it is uneven. But yea. It looks really beautiful but took me way too much time to finish + the mats too. But its a cool base tho . Cant get use to that the tc room is seperate and you can`t get up to OC :D.
Is a ladder hatch placeable here 2:50? Or does it need to kept free for the triangle to open bunker? Wish me luck haven’t built it yet gonna build it on a live server 😱

For some reason I cant seem to ever be able to place the wall to the bunkers. I have to destroy the twig triangle foundation, place it where theres none in the viedo here, place the wall, destroy the foundation and replace in correct spot. Only now on the live server I cant get the foundation back with rhe wall up lol. I know these should be practiced on a build server and I did, but maybe some helpful tip on if something isnt working, what the top possible cause is? Idk, liking the design so far but not sure if ill get it down this wipe!
My best advice is to hop back on a build server and just learn to build that bunker, next make sure you place the overhead triangle frame after the bunker wall is placed and the bunker is open using a triangle roof. If you need more help join the discord but be aware it's super late for me and I'm about to go to bed but I'll help as soon as I see it posted
@@NineRust Copy, that's the plan! On a positive note... I joined a low low pop server to build some bps and was offlined by a quad. Looks like they used a combination of 20-30 rockets and didn't get a single thing. I'll admit though, I didn't have any loot in the loot room haha, it was all still in the starter. Nonetheless, i'll keep trying! Thanks again.

Man I can’t build this base for the life of me. 8 different times I’ve tried but I’ve been onlined EVERY SINGLE TIME. I haven’t even gotten the 2nd floor put up. And it’s always by big groups or it’s when I’m still prim so I can’t do anything
For some people sure, but in more densely populated areas on force wipe it's kind of annoying defending yourself from grubs, especially when they can just climb on you roof and have control of basically all your peaks. @@NineRust
Hey Nine been watching ur vids for a while now and taken a lot of inspiration from ur bases. I have a 2x2 I’ve been building for about a year. Never been raided but was wondering if you or anyone you know would be able to give some tips or recommended changes
I built this base on a 2x and recently got raided by 4 man, they fully armored a raid base sitting up with full heavy metal l9 and rocketing, sieging forward. It was 3v4 and they got the external tc and started building these mini roofs to extend forward putting up auto turrets. We have sealed the base around 12-13 times yet they continue to boom. They must have used more than 300 rockets pummeling into core. Unfortunately, we lost all of our loot, but I had gained a lot of experience on peaks of the base and sealing. Although I think this would be an unstoppable base on a vanilla server I feel like it was quite small for the 2x. I just felt helpless not knowing how to counter their insane amount of rockets and full heavy pot in their raid base. any advice would be appreciated.
Making a larger version of this base would help tons of changing the externals out and adding a secondary defense compound area with more turrets and respawns
Building this on my custom server. Pretty much finished the build but since adding the last 3 external TCs, I noticed one of my TCs disappeared. I put the TC back but since the 3 external TCs have disappeared, just the wooden TC, the main TC seems to have picked up the upkeep as no decay but I now can place TCs back down due to stacking building privileges . No idea what’s going on, any ideas ?
Yeah, I followed the video. The first 3 externals were all ok, just seems to be since I’ve added the last 3 externals. I Must have done something wrong somewhere 🤦🏼♂️
@@reid624 the only reason the externals would be popping is if the building is connected somehow to the main base. Some little detail must be wrong I'd guess
62 rockets if only using sheet metal and assuming it's a full offline without turrets traps and they raid effectively. This also does not count compound or starter unit/ all the bedrooms scattered

People usually build open cores with Ramp turrets. Why did you not decide to incorporate it?

honestly this is a perfect 4-6 man base, plus the low upkeep, 3 bunkers, and a great compound

Yeah it's a wacky starter but I like it, I like keeping them split to increase the raid cost a little more
If you made this base but with a 360 degree shooting floor this would be such a good base But this base is still really good

Updating to metal might be a fix, and or standing in weird spots around it. Unless some deployable/ entity to blocking the placement

Slowly, you will want to somehow reconnect a Tc to that gategouse or raid that hqm tc
