You know, it kinda makes me sad that Denis Villeneuve moved on to bigger projects and that he won't be making these types of movies anymore... I loved Blade Runner 2049 and I'll probably love Dune but Prisoners, Sicario, Enemy, Arrival are peak Villeneuve
@@MalcolmReviews I doubt he's really changed. Blade Runner 2049 and Dune were requests for him to do it. Once he gets around to choosing what he makes again I doubt he'll be doing more like the former.
@@Zaz5y He said he's always wanted to do Dune and he obviously has a love for Blade Runner, I don't think he was asked to do either. Also I'm pretty sure he had been trying to get the rights for Dune for a long time (idk if that's true I've just heard it somewhere) Though, I think Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival (one of his bigger films) are still as good as Prisoners, I don't think big = bad or small = good, it's just the quality, and they both have amazing quality imo. Although, I can't help myself but like the style of Prisoners, but I think it is good that Denis Villeneuve can show that he can direct different styles, and show that he does extremely well. (btw some of this wasn't directed at Zaz5y directly, I just wanted to add onto the conversation)
Luckily i don't do it for fame man :) I actually enjoy the editing process and i've always loved film, and obviously I want a crowd to watch my work but i'm patient about it. I know the day will come some time and people will notice me. Thanks bro
