    I appreciate the info you have here. I'll be landing in Bangkok in 18 days and after a few days there I'll be on Koh Samui for 2 weeks in Chaweng, Lamai and Fisherman's Village. Can't wait to see it all in person!

      As a subtropical fruit that grows in temperate climates oranges turn orange, but for those that are grown in the tropics their chlorophyll is preserved and they tend to remain green.

    I really appreciate this video content, was nice to see the markets. What would be your food recommendations to try at the night market?

      The street food is awesome! Otherwise, if you want to sit down at a restaurant, coco tams is great - I love sitting on their roof-top. Lots of different options, almost any restaurant you pick on the strip will be to your liking.

    I like the way u talked....do I need a driving license to hire a bike in koh samui.....

    • @Kohnoah
      @Kohnoah  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Simia! Good question - so you really don’t have to have a license to rent a motorbike here. BUT if you did get pulled over you would get a fine pretty much at the cops discretion. From what I have heard it’s usually not too much. Best not to travel with loads of money if you do.
      I got my international drivers license which was super cheap. Just go to a local (AAA) if you have a drivers license in your home country. Then you’ll need to carry your passport, home license, and international license.
      Otherwise, you can get your license here if you want for about 7,000 baht easily if you talk to a local visa agent.
      Honestly … I haven’t been pulled over once in all six months of being here on the island. Cops are more strict up north but you should be fine - especially if you’re here for a short time.
      Just make sure to do a cash deposit for your bike - don’t give your passport - and also drive safe as heck.
      Good luck! :D

      @@simiazawadatraveler6014 loved diving in Koh Tao! Just returned from there, but if you check my channel, you can see a video I made on it. As far as my favorite site, I can’t recall the exact name, but you can dive on a sunken battle ship so that’s really cool!

    Where is the best restaurant in bophut and where should I rent a scooter?

    • @Kohnoah
      @Kohnoah  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jen! The best restaurant in my opinion would be the cocoon. Amazing view, pretty great food too. Funny you ask! I actually am starting a bike rental business currently and will have them available to rent within the week :) I have the bikes, just getting my contracts written up and bikes registered. If you want one you can contact me on Facebook messenger at m.facebook.com/noah.malcolm.169
