i don’t if its just me but i prefer singing live and giving facial expressions and attitude over dancing like a robots cus thats what make your performance different from the others its your energy, the choreo i feel like any good dancer could do it
It is not just you, I do too and luckily this is what BP is known for. Sadly the Kpop community LOVES robots and synchronization which is why BP gets so much hate, but regardless they rise above it all and gave us a wonderful Coachella performance.

While we are within the 4th generation of the Kpop scene, Blackpink for some reason out of all the groups, pop out to me. Like I can’t get enough of them. Their music, concept, face, style, outfits, etc. Adding to their sweet personalities. And the dang confidence and charisma they have, something about their charisma that I can find in most groups nowadays. Typa Girl is one of my favorite BP songs and most listened to so I’m glad they have a performance that really showed off that energy of Typa Girl

Yes, as a Blink I agree with you that their live performances are lit. That’s why they are so successful in tours-that energy is so contagious. I was lucky to have watched them live in their ongoing tour (which is now the highest-grossing tour of a girl group in history, and it still has several shows left). They may not have the most intricate of choreos (but they can do that if they want) but the energy and presence is phenomenal. You might want to watch their performance at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes in France where they performed Shut Down and Pink Venom with live orchestra. This is a benefit show for the charity headed by the First Lady of France.

there are a lot of people say that they are not dancing or doesn’t have a speed energetic choreo but this is yg style and also suits blackpink concept, don’t compare them to others and they are focusing on raps a lot too so it’s ok to not do choreo during rap parts you can do some moves that it suits rap …. and they have some solo parts in mv or time by time choreo like doing step s one after one that’s why but thier choreo is always iconic and suits the song so perfectly and also lyrically, and may be some people doesn’t like it but for sure it’s amazing to watch and represent the song and this is the difference between blackpink and others , they perform with charisma, facial expressions, smooth movements, captivating dance moves that it’s so cool to watch they give you energy with lyrics, raps , and deep voice, hyping, and some cool steps , i think they are the best in this type of performing.., it’s my favorite even thier voices giving you energy and supporting the lyrics and meaning with crazy beats that’s why they are still one of the bests even without having energetic dance moves, and this is yg style , yg didn’t change their style may be they will with baby monster, and also treasure have it but you can see also in yg boy groups choreo, even they are boys but they still show you a lot of yg style moves

@@katharinakraven well like I said, I feel a bit of a betrayal to their regular backup dancers and they are exceptional. Beyond that, I’m selfish. I don’t like so much contact with westerners. They’re foul mouthed and vulgar as well as there has to always be drama. Unfortunately there’s already a change in the girls but fortunately unless they move to the west they have their culture to bring them to their roots of respect and manners. Underneath their badass stage persona they’re sweet girls and I believe the combination of that dynamic is what makes them so appealing to so many. Too much western assimilation will ruin them. Not gonna lie. I seriously disliked the collab with the western dancers. Nix that. I hated it. If I was YG dancers I’d feel betrayed. Just sayin…

@@katharinakraven well like I said, I feel a bit of a betrayal to their regular backup dancers and they are exceptional. Beyond that, I’m selfish. I don’t like so much contact with westerners. They’re foul mouthed and vulgar as well as there has to always be drama. Unfortunately there’s already a change in the girls but fortunately unless they move to the west they have their culture to bring them to their roots of respect and manners. Underneath their badass stage persona they’re sweet girls and I believe the combination of that dynamic is what makes them so appealing to so many. Too much western assimilation will ruin them. That’s why I dove deep into Kpop and have come to love many groups with the Pinks being my ult. I don’t expect them to be perfect or prudish but I like what they come from and westerners are bad influences. There, I said it And I stand by it.
