Honestly I think you're missing the point a little bit. Super Bowl ads aren't about getting people to understand your product or service, it's about establishing yourself as a top tier brand. Every one already knows what state farm and dunkin sell, they just need to maintain a general presence. There's so much involved with marketing that doesn't convert to immediate sales but that doesn't make it a waste. All that being said I'm not like crazy about the Super Bowl ads or anything, I just think that they are serving the intended purpose.
I agree and disagree. Agreed: there’s more to marketing than saying “thing good, buy thing.” I overlooked that aspect of the game in this video in service of my broader point (which is clearer to me now after getting feedback): brands are sponsoring skits that happen to have their logo plastered on it. Like NASCAR! Disagree: I don’t think everyone knows what State Farm & Dunkin sell. You and I know what they’re about because we’ve been exposed to them all our lives. But that’s only after repeated exposure. These ads probably fit into their larger marketing strategies (ie something about reinforcing brand recognition), but fail to bring new follows (at least imo) Sorry for all the parentheticals, thanks for watching my video!
such a great video! you deserve way more views!! as someone who isnt american and doesnt care about these celebrities, some of these ads were so confusing and you put everything into words so perfectly. i dont trust mr voiceover man either
While I don’t agree 100% with your points, you do have a solid argument. Great video regardless, entertaining and informing throughout! Keep it up man!
I'm also launching my Patreon! How exciting.

For some reason Tom Brady's face in the Dunkin ad bugs me so much
I already don't care at all about celebrities..
Putting them on ads just has he opposite effect on me.
That’s one of the risks of relying on celebs to sell your product; some people just don’t like them!
