Ah the buriti bronzer was THE product of summer 2016 for me. Unfortunately it went rancid before I could use it up. Emptied RMS pots are perfect for decanting other products. Strangely I haven’t been attracted to their non-pot products; their fear mongering social media also rubbed me the wrong way. But there is just something magical about these frosted pots. I think you got the best colors out of the whole collection.
Same, definitely more drawn to the pot products! So compact and handy to use. I haven't come across any of the fear mongering online but have heard others talk about it.. Thanks for watching! x
Love RMS as well but I definitely agree about the fear mongering. There’s nothing wrong with organic natural products but it grinds my gears when people try to make non-organic products as the root of all evil. Lol.

The Wild With Desire lipstick in brain teaser is my favorite lipstick of all time, it's comfy on my lips and really flatters my skin tone. Since it is so pigmented, I like to dab on my lips for lighter coverage but it's nice to have the option to make it bolder for evenings out!
Yes it's a lovely shade isn't it Loribeth! I'm usually drawn to darker colours but that's a very pretty neutral. I was thrilled to be sent some new products by Rose-Marie Swift recently including a couple of brand new Wild With Desire shades! I'll do a video on them soon x

Ive been using RMS for quite awhile and my “gateway” was the lip 2 Cheek in Demure plus eye polish in Aura. It was love, so I added Illusive, Master Mixer, Swift Shadow in GR 12, and NOW...more lipsticks in a tube (Who needs to eat, really?) Brain Teaser (I wish it was more pinky brown as described on the RMS website), Rapture and I need Temptation. Great review!

I've been using RMS products since they came out, I probably take them for granted a bit now, but they really are the best. I basically use the whole line, but my everyday favourites are "Un" Cover-Up in 22, Tinted "Un' Powder in 2-3, Lip 2 Cheek in Smile, Living Luminizer, Master Mixer and Eye Polish in Seduce - this is the only eye shadow I manage to use with any frequency, as long as you keep it on the eyelid and away from the crease it lasts all day. The only product I've tried that I have struggled with is the Lip Shine in Sacred, I love the product, but I don't like lip products in a pot, so I don't really use it. Looking forward to trying the newer lipsticks in a tube. This might be controversial, but I feel like Glossier have totally ripped off RMS with the style and packaging of their products, but without the 'natural and organic' thing. I haven't yet tried Glossier, so I can't comment on the quality, but the vibe is definitely a cheaper version of RMS. Ilia Beauty has a similar thing going on, with an emphasis on lip products, their stuff is great and works well with RMS
You're an RMS expert Hannah! 👏 I'm actually lucky enough to be meeting Rose-Marie Swift soon on my travels so I'll be sure to let her know that yours was one of many great comments I regularly receive from people who love RMS! Interesting point about Glossier, I actually hadn't picked up on that vibe at all with the packaging particularly? They're certainly in the same minimal makeup family but I think RMS has a slightly more sophisticated but still laidback vibe x
I somehow missed this video so I'm only watching it now, but my jaw literally dropped when that first lipstick was swatched. I absolutely do not need any new lipstick but......it's going on my wishlist (especially since I found out one of my favourite lipstick shades has been discontinued and the 2nd one looked mighty similar!)
Another great video! RMS Un cover up is the most wonderful concealer I've found, after trying many, many brands over the years. Looks like I need to buy some Lip2Cheek colors!

I was going to mention it in the video but it was getting very long haha - I love the idea of Un Cover Up but unfortunately the shade range is far too yellow for my skin which has very pink undertones. Even the lightest shades aren't a good match 😔 Glossier Stretch Concealer seems to be quite a similar product though! x

I recently tried the living luminizer and I love it. It’s so natural and glowy, and unlike other cream highlighters it doesn’t completely fade into your skin by the end of the day.
New sub here- so glad I found your channel. I too am a long time fan of RMS. Their is no better cream bronzer than Buriti! And the luminizers are like no other: Living and Magic are my favorites. I do Living when I’m doing a cool toned look and Magic when my makeup is warm. And the Lips 2 Cheek are genius. I really appreciate your videos- fast paced and to the point!
I only have two RMS products (technically three - two shades of the Uncoverup and the Magic Luminizer) and I am obsessed! I want their Lip 2 Cheeks but I can’t decide on the shades haha

Have you ever tried anything from Rituel de Fille? They're another natural/minimalist brand like RMS. Almost everything they make can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks, which seems really cool. I think you'd really like their inner glow creme pigments! They're gorgeous and I'm super obsessed right now.

I love the idea of RMS (and Olio E Esso), I use the cheek/lip tints all the time but when I rub them into my cheeks I keep thinking the coconut oils are breaking down the sunblock I had just put on earlier :P that's why I'm getting freckles and sunspots in that area all the time. We use oils as makeup remover and cleansing, so when it's in makeup doesn't it it do the kind of the same thing ?

Hi Matilda, I've been using Olio e osso no 1 for high-lighter but really want to try RMS living luminizer. I can't tell if it's worth the price tag though, as I like a natural look and the Olio no 1 does it for me well. Would you recommend getting the RMS, or are they quite similar? Thank you!
Glad you're enjoying your Olio Elizabeth! Unfortunately I never recommend products or comment on whether something is 'worth it', because that's always a personal choice. I have loved RMS Living Luminizer for years and think it's the original glowy highlight ✨ Olio will be giving you a more balmy, dewy finish, but RMS would add more glow and gloss to the skin so I'd say you'd notice quite a difference. But if you're happy with Olio and aren't sure about the price of RMS, it might not be worth the risk x

I personally don't follow expiry dates at all - I prefer to prioritise cleanliness instead (only applying makeup with clean hands, never sharing with other people, putting lids straight back on, cleaning up packaging after use etc) and luckily I’ve rarely had anything 'go bad'. If it still looks / smells / performs the same, I keep it! But that’s always a personal call 👍 x
Matilda , please do a video on best facial serums ❤️ I have combination/ oily skin and I wear makeup often . I currently use the Garnier moisture bomb masks and I love them but I need help purchasing an actual serum in a bottle to use on a daily basis. Much love , Jasmine 🌸🌞
Hi Jasmine! Unfortunately I'm not an expert so I find it really hard to recommend products for people with different skin types (my skin is dry to normal). I like the serums from Glossier, The Ordinary and Chanel though, so see if you can do some research on what might work for your skin! Good luck x
Hi Jasmine - I’ve got similar skin to you and found the ‘drunk elephant’ range to be extremely beneficial to my skin. They have two serums, a vitamin c for am and an acid pm. Maybe look it up, if you haven’t already found something ;)

Would you recommend the living luminizer or the magic luminizer? I want a natural glow but I’m not sure which one would be good for me. Bc I don’t want it to be TOO subtle, but have a good “intensity” but still natural and dewy.
I never recommend products unfortunately Emma, because everyone's skin and style is so different. I haven't used Magic Luminizer as much, but Living Luminizer is a classic and their signature product 👏✨ x

Cream / 'clean' products generally have a shorter lifespan than powders, but I've had most of mine for years without any issues! If a product still smells / looks / performs the same, I keep it 👍 x
I bought the Mod collection yesterday, for going away for a month for work! I wanted to streamline and minimise my makeup, as I’ll be in a very hot climate and won’t be wearing much. So, this will be fine. And Lucky and Myth for eyes. Boy Brow. And Beloved for the times I feel like a punchy wow colour ;) xxx

If you'd like to try some other Aussie brands, my favourites are Aesop, Go-To Skincare, Jurlique and Grown Alchemist (that one is all natural!) x
Thank you Arshia! RMS say the products keep for 1-2 years max and should be thrown out after that... but I've kept some for a lot longer 🙊 Some people have said theirs dried out because of the natural ingredients but I've never had it happen to any of mine! x

I've been looking so long for a cream bronzer that doesn't cause acne so I saw the rms buriti bronzer and I've been wanting to buy it for a while. I thought since it's clean makeup it wouldn't clog my pores. But now you said it has coconut oil and I'm a bit hesitant. Has this caused you any breakouts ?
I've luckily never had any issues Maya, but several people have commented on this video saying their skin doesn't agree with the coconut oil. It's going to vary from person to person! Good luck 👍 x

Unfortunately I can't comment on that Stephanie, as I haven't used one every day consistently - I mix and match with my makeup. Best to contact the brand! I've had some of my RMS pots for *years* and have never hit the bottom, so I don't think you'll have a problem with it running out quickly! Expiry dates are more likely to creep up on you instead, but I personally don't follow the dates and just prioritise hygiene, and haven't had any issues with these going bad 👍 x

also another thing to mention is that RMS products are expensive but my god they last a bloody long time. I use my master mixer as a highlighter because the living luminizer is too white on my brown skin and I bought it a year ago. still haven't finished it yet
Matilda coconut oil has quite a long shelf life and I'm sure they use a more stable form of coconut oil so girl if you got plenty left I say keep going

Ooh I haven't tried using it that way Ally, not sure sorry! The eye polishes are a different texture to the luminizers though. If you're looking for a highlight, the Champagne Rosé Luminizer is my new favourite - it's in the second RMS Beauty video on my channel (more recent than this one)! x
It seems funny, I live in the colder climate and those lipsticks aren't so creamy when I use them. Lip2Cheek also. And I have to say that they differ in consistency: Diabolique is more solid than others, the same with eye products: some crease more than others. Seduce is very creamy. Mix Master is also more solid than Living Luminizer, I find Champane Rose Luminizer even creamier. Have You also noticed that? All in all: I love this brand, could use only their products forever. I think man can never get wrong with those, they give glow in the most beautiful way and all those eye colors are just pure magic, they sparkle like nothing else on Earth. Lip/Cheek products blends so easily and they look so natural, great tones. The same with their foundation...
Sounds like you're a super fan of RMS like me Ada! 👏 I agree, the consistency of the products can vary but I think that's always a factor with natural ingredients like coconut oil etc that can solidify/melt. Climate definitely plays a part, you're right! Remember you can always warm them up by swirling your fingers around in the pot first x

Matilda it has happened with the glossier haloscope, that I loved!, but my skin doesn't like it (even in my cheekbones), and also when using coconut oil as makeup remover in my double cleanser rutine. But no, I haven't try any RMS products, I'm so tempted, they look gorgeous!! and the lipsticks I think are going to be a must have now.
Unfortunately I can't give any shade advice for other skin tones, as I'm not a makeup artist or an expert. Maybe see if you can find some images online of it being worn on darker skin tones, or contact the brand 👍 x

The Wild With Desire lipstick in brain teaser is my favorite lipstick of all time, it's comfy on my lips and really flatters my skin tone. Since it is so pigmented, I like to dab on my lips for lighter coverage but it's nice to have the option to make it bolder for evenings out!
Yes it's a lovely shade isn't it Loribeth! I'm usually drawn to darker colours but that's a very pretty neutral. I was thrilled to be sent some new products by Rose-Marie Swift recently including a couple of brand new Wild With Desire shades! I'll do a video on them soon x

Ive been using RMS for quite awhile and my “gateway” was the lip 2 Cheek in Demure plus eye polish in Aura. It was love, so I added Illusive, Master Mixer, Swift Shadow in GR 12, and NOW...more lipsticks in a tube (Who needs to eat, really?) Brain Teaser (I wish it was more pinky brown as described on the RMS website), Rapture and I need Temptation. Great review!

I've been using RMS products since they came out, I probably take them for granted a bit now, but they really are the best. I basically use the whole line, but my everyday favourites are "Un" Cover-Up in 22, Tinted "Un' Powder in 2-3, Lip 2 Cheek in Smile, Living Luminizer, Master Mixer and Eye Polish in Seduce - this is the only eye shadow I manage to use with any frequency, as long as you keep it on the eyelid and away from the crease it lasts all day. The only product I've tried that I have struggled with is the Lip Shine in Sacred, I love the product, but I don't like lip products in a pot, so I don't really use it. Looking forward to trying the newer lipsticks in a tube.
This might be controversial, but I feel like Glossier have totally ripped off RMS with the style and packaging of their products, but without the 'natural and organic' thing. I haven't yet tried Glossier, so I can't comment on the quality, but the vibe is definitely a cheaper version of RMS. Ilia Beauty has a similar thing going on, with an emphasis on lip products, their stuff is great and works well with RMS
You're an RMS expert Hannah! 👏 I'm actually lucky enough to be meeting Rose-Marie Swift soon on my travels so I'll be sure to let her know that yours was one of many great comments I regularly receive from people who love RMS! Interesting point about Glossier, I actually hadn't picked up on that vibe at all with the packaging particularly? They're certainly in the same minimal makeup family but I think RMS has a slightly more sophisticated but still laidback vibe x
I somehow missed this video so I'm only watching it now, but my jaw literally dropped when that first lipstick was swatched. I absolutely do not need any new lipstick but......it's going on my wishlist (especially since I found out one of my favourite lipstick shades has been discontinued and the 2nd one looked mighty similar!)

I was going to mention it in the video but it was getting very long haha - I love the idea of Un Cover Up but unfortunately the shade range is far too yellow for my skin which has very pink undertones. Even the lightest shades aren't a good match 😔 Glossier Stretch Concealer seems to be quite a similar product though! x

I recently tried the living luminizer and I love it. It’s so natural and glowy, and unlike other cream highlighters it doesn’t completely fade into your skin by the end of the day.

I do Living when I’m doing a cool toned look and Magic when my makeup is warm. And the Lips 2 Cheek are genius. I really appreciate your videos- fast paced and to the point!

Have you ever tried anything from Rituel de Fille? They're another natural/minimalist brand like RMS. Almost everything they make can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks, which seems really cool. I think you'd really like their inner glow creme pigments! They're gorgeous and I'm super obsessed right now.

I love the idea of RMS (and Olio E Esso), I use the cheek/lip tints all the time but when I rub them into my cheeks I keep thinking the coconut oils are breaking down the sunblock I had just put on earlier :P that's why I'm getting freckles and sunspots in that area all the time. We use oils as makeup remover and cleansing, so when it's in makeup doesn't it it do the kind of the same thing ?

Hi Matilda, I've been using Olio e osso no 1 for high-lighter but really want to try RMS living luminizer. I can't tell if it's worth the price tag though, as I like a natural look and the Olio no 1 does it for me well. Would you recommend getting the RMS, or are they quite similar? Thank you!
Glad you're enjoying your Olio Elizabeth! Unfortunately I never recommend products or comment on whether something is 'worth it', because that's always a personal choice. I have loved RMS Living Luminizer for years and think it's the original glowy highlight ✨ Olio will be giving you a more balmy, dewy finish, but RMS would add more glow and gloss to the skin so I'd say you'd notice quite a difference. But if you're happy with Olio and aren't sure about the price of RMS, it might not be worth the risk x

I personally don't follow expiry dates at all - I prefer to prioritise cleanliness instead (only applying makeup with clean hands, never sharing with other people, putting lids straight back on, cleaning up packaging after use etc) and luckily I’ve rarely had anything 'go bad'. If it still looks / smells / performs the same, I keep it! But that’s always a personal call 👍 x
Matilda , please do a video on best facial serums ❤️ I have combination/ oily skin and I wear makeup often . I currently use the Garnier moisture bomb masks and I love them but I need help purchasing an actual serum in a bottle to use on a daily basis.

Hi Jasmine! Unfortunately I'm not an expert so I find it really hard to recommend products for people with different skin types (my skin is dry to normal). I like the serums from Glossier, The Ordinary and Chanel though, so see if you can do some research on what might work for your skin! Good luck x
Hi Jasmine - I’ve got similar skin to you and found the ‘drunk elephant’ range to be extremely beneficial to my skin. They have two serums, a vitamin c for am and an acid pm. Maybe look it up, if you haven’t already found something ;)

I never recommend products unfortunately Emma, because everyone's skin and style is so different. I haven't used Magic Luminizer as much, but Living Luminizer is a classic and their signature product 👏✨ x

Cream / 'clean' products generally have a shorter lifespan than powders, but I've had most of mine for years without any issues! If a product still smells / looks / performs the same, I keep it 👍 x
I bought the Mod collection yesterday, for going away for a month for work! I wanted to streamline and minimise my makeup, as I’ll be in a very hot climate and won’t be wearing much. So, this will be fine. And Lucky and Myth for eyes. Boy Brow. And Beloved for the times I feel like a punchy wow colour ;) xxx

I've been looking so long for a cream bronzer that doesn't cause acne so I saw the rms buriti bronzer and I've been wanting to buy it for a while. I thought since it's clean makeup it wouldn't clog my pores. But now you said it has coconut oil and I'm a bit hesitant. Has this caused you any breakouts ?
I've luckily never had any issues Maya, but several people have commented on this video saying their skin doesn't agree with the coconut oil. It's going to vary from person to person! Good luck 👍 x

Unfortunately I can't comment on that Stephanie, as I haven't used one every day consistently - I mix and match with my makeup. Best to contact the brand! I've had some of my RMS pots for *years* and have never hit the bottom, so I don't think you'll have a problem with it running out quickly! Expiry dates are more likely to creep up on you instead, but I personally don't follow the dates and just prioritise hygiene, and haven't had any issues with these going bad 👍 x

Matilda coconut oil has quite a long shelf life and I'm sure they use a more stable form of coconut oil so girl if you got plenty left I say keep going

Ooh I haven't tried using it that way Ally, not sure sorry! The eye polishes are a different texture to the luminizers though. If you're looking for a highlight, the Champagne Rosé Luminizer is my new favourite - it's in the second RMS Beauty video on my channel (more recent than this one)! x

It seems funny, I live in the colder climate and those lipsticks aren't so creamy when I use them. Lip2Cheek also. And I have to say that they differ in consistency: Diabolique is more solid than others, the same with eye products: some crease more than others. Seduce is very creamy. Mix Master is also more solid than Living Luminizer, I find Champane Rose Luminizer even creamier. Have You also noticed that? All in all: I love this brand, could use only their products forever. I think man can never get wrong with those, they give glow in the most beautiful way and all those eye colors are just pure magic, they sparkle like nothing else on Earth. Lip/Cheek products blends so easily and they look so natural, great tones. The same with their foundation...
Sounds like you're a super fan of RMS like me Ada! 👏 I agree, the consistency of the products can vary but I think that's always a factor with natural ingredients like coconut oil etc that can solidify/melt. Climate definitely plays a part, you're right! Remember you can always warm them up by swirling your fingers around in the pot first x
@@matildaonvideo thank You for the tip. Now we have really cold weather in Norway, Fall, so my RMSies are solid. But I don't mind, they are still lovely. Wish to have chance to see all of the other products in store, all of mine are bought on-line. Always not sure of the colour, but so far so good.

Aren't the lipsticks lovely Andrea! So impressed by them. Have you tried RMS products in particular before? If it helps I've never broken out using them, maybe because you only need to apply a small amount of each product x
Matilda it has happened with the glossier haloscope, that I loved!, but my skin doesn't like it (even in my cheekbones), and also when using coconut oil as makeup remover in my double cleanser rutine. But no, I haven't try any RMS products, I'm so tempted, they look gorgeous!! and the lipsticks I think are going to be a must have now.
Does the living luminizer work on darker skin tones? Without looking frosty?
Unfortunately I can't give any shade advice for other skin tones, as I'm not a makeup artist or an expert. Maybe see if you can find some images online of it being worn on darker skin tones, or contact the brand 👍 x
