I wanted more power then the Xiegu G1M 5 watts, so I bought an Ebay bargain Yaesu FT747GX.
I struggled to find proper dismantling instructions. So in this video I show you how to strip the FT747 without breaking anything.
A button wasn't working for FAST tune mode, so I swapped one from PRI-M out while I source some equivalent buttons.
I service the potentiometers, encoder shaft and switches.
Then I decided to add a panadapter output to feed my SDR from the same antenna I Rx and Tx on safely by using the Tx relay and internal wiring
