im gonna take a guess and say that it depends on preference
if you already like the mgc or dont wanna commit to spending that much on a cube, probably just keep the mgc
but if you want the best 5x5 regardless of how much it costs, id say go for it

i had a somewhat similar situation when i had to pick a new main between the v5 and the ys3m. my first thought was to go for the v5 and after having it for like a month i dont regret it at all
