As a big cyber dark player I agree. He should have attached the cyber dragon hertz so that when it went to the grave he got to re-add core. Couple other things but that was the most obvious to me.
I have a love/hate relationship with Mahad. Sometimes he comes along at exactly the right time to take out a boss monster. Other times he's right there in the opening hand, mocking me with his smug aura.

Cyberdark end gets extra attacks per equipped monster One of the reason I like running Attachment Cybern because he just passively gives 600 atk to whoever equips him
I have an excatly similar experience against a max chaos dragon, without Mahad I would have lost, it was the only card that made the weight, I play Mana with Mahad

I'd of least saw my top deck before quiting. But I'd not of ran so many clunky cards. That cyber deck looked fragile as hell so doubtful he'd of topped deck a fantastic draw and turned shit around. Plus with eternal souls that would of been set. Out come not look so good.
Well Zane spent his hand and would of only had one card next turn. Yugi defeated his beast and had two monsters on field and three cards in hand. So with at least 4100 damage delt and 2000 taken from power bond zane only had 1900 life left. Yugi then would of set eternal souls next turn summon another dm plus next turn draw tribute summon dm girl then bring back dm that be four monsters on field. Way more then needed to win. So yah it was game over. Even if he didn't quit..Zane literally would of had to top deck one hell of a card.
