at 7:00 you couldn't give the shovel to the scout because the scout didn't have a dig ability to begin with. If she had one even a zero then you could attach it to her.
Been in my collection since it came out in the uk about a year ago. Awesome game! I thought you might like this Zee as it is similar thematically to the Neuroshima universe.
They're... honestly not that great. I played it once and don't have much interest in playing it again. You basically make 7 stacks of contested cards in startup and "fight" them in a skirmish. If you win, you get a random card from that stack and the rest go away. If you lose, the whole stack goes away. Your VP count after clearing the 7th stack is your score for the game. But you don't HAVE to fight them, so there's not much stopping you from just digging and hunting forever to make a monstrous deck, then attacking all the stacks. I really like this game, it's one of my top deck building games of all time, but I would not play it as a solo game.
Gyrogyro Thank you! I think the game looks great, with a very rare and enticing theme. I'm going to have to find someone to play it with, and then fiddle around to see if I can come up with another way to play solo. If not, then not, but I can still shuffle the cards and look at the pictures.
Hey Zee, do you think Arctic Scavengers would make it on your top 10 deckbuilders list now? If so, how high do you think you'd rank it? I just watched that video and was pretty surprised to not see any mention of the game haha.
Hopefully this will finally make it to Germany. English cards are a huge turn off for some in my group even if there's as little text as in Arctic Scavengers.
I know years have passed but I got the german version today, I think Its great, the only let down was that Inlay, the cards didnt fit in there correctly when sleeved, the Box didnt close anymore as Well so i had to get rid of that Inlay. Oh and its a shame they scratched the cannibal Leader. I Liked that Idea. No clue why they did that. Otherwise the game is perfect i think.
@@pesticyde5492 I have the German version by now as well :) and yes, it's sad the cannibal is gone. Guess the German publisher didn't want to include that one. Not a big loss but still a bit weird. You could print out the cannibal leader and sleeve the cards. Anyway, hope you're having fun with the game :)

My friend recommended it to me. But I trust Zee's judgement way more than his. So time to try it.
