Love these types of videos, it’s a simple concept and yet very enjoyable to watch especially while being stuck in gloomy Europe during the winter. Also loved your interactions with locals, nevermind the little awkwardness, but just seeing their faces light up when you’re able to communicate with them in their own language opposed to probably 99% of the other touristy looking blokes out there is just kinda wholesome. Anyways, great video and I’m looking forward to many more!
So glad you enjoyed the vid mate, and hope the weather clears up wherever you are are in Europe real soon. Even though my Indonesian is incredible limited, it seems most people I approach appreciate the effort - then again, this is Bali... some of the kindest people in the world!
This style video is awesome! More of this! Maybe a little bit more of the technical settings to achieve the look and what adjustments you are making as you go 🤙🏼
@@paratusoutdoors Thanks mate! Sure sure, will consider sharing more about that in the future - fwiw, most the time I’m between f/5.6 and f/8, and a shutter speed that freezes the subject 🤝🏼
You are hilarious 😂make more videos! I've admired your photography for years and it's so cool to see your process. Especially because you live in such an awesome place! Great work!
Really enjoy your photography, Jord. Excited to see you start a YT channel! Great video to start off. One quick note, I’d say the microphone volume is a bit too high but that’s just a small note. Keep it up mate!
Oh Jord.... that was soooo cool, watching you at your "Mission"! Beautiful Spots and Kind People there! Imagine doing something like that here in Germany, I would immediately be sued several times because of violating personal rights!🙈😄But in reality, a Person makes the whole Difference in every Frame, doesn`t it?! Looking forward to your next "Adventures"!😎✌
Cheers brother! Yes, the people out here certainly make life a lot easier as a photographer - they’re incredible. Seems to be the way across much of Asia. Excited to share more 🫡
Thanks brother, really glad to hear that. I’ll admit, shooting these videos and landing on an edit is much harder than I first anticipated, but loving the process. Also, good to know! I should really start taking Indo classes 😂🙏🏼
Thanks mate! You don’t need permission to fly in Bali unless you’re planning on doing so within close proximity to the airport. It’s super relaxed compared to Europe/US 🙂
It's on my never-ending list of things to do... Jokes asides, the website is currently being revamped. Will share updates on that in future videos, and am very much looking forward to sharing my work on the big screen soon!
Cheers mate, they are a huge part of why photography such an enjoyable endeavour for me! I would love to return to Malaysia some day and it would be a blast to explore together, so thanks for the offer, and appreciate the sub :)
I do have to say I had a bit of a giggle when you added a single camera click sound effect over the image of the moped Rider perfectly captured in the light with his shadow on the wall because I'm CERTAIN you must have fired a dozen shots to nail it as perfectly as you have! Well done, no hate, just having a laugh!
Haha, well said! I really should have added 20 of those effects over that clip - might take that suggestion and use it in another vid. Keep an eye out!

No expensive camera can beat Nikon and Canon. These two are just on next level.
Woah woah woah… Sony, Leica, Hasselblad?! 👀
@@jordhammond They are very good but aren't as popular as Canon and Nikon. Are they?
only Fujifilm can compete with both of them somehow.
Leica
@@leonardlister4087 Leica's film cameras are good.
@@aayazahmed5389 Sony is litterally twice as big as nikon.

Great video Jord - cracking shots. Would have loved sub titles on your interactions with the locals 😂
Thank you! I’ll try include subtitles next time, for better or worse 😂
Brilliant video, Jord.
Educational, funny and really well put together,.
I need to go back to Bali someday. 🙏🏽
Cheers, Ash! A return trip to Bali is always a good idea. Planning on making plenty of vids there, so you’ll be set by the time you arrive 👌🏼
love the genuine tone! Just like you in real life ;) and great to see new photos / style / content at the same time! This is gold! (to me at least)
Haha, I’m certainly trying! Appreciate the kind words, Cyril. Hope to see you back here real soon 🙏🏼

Haha, glad somebody thinks so! I’ll be sticking to one per week for now, but have plans to post more often in the near future 🤝🏼
So dope to watch this and relive some of the locations I had the privilege to shoot while in Bali 😍
Funnily enough it even feels like a trip down memory lane for me. Also, you leaving Bali was one of the island’s darkest days.
Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon. Mostly because I can’t stop thinking about that cookie and ice cream dessert 🤤
Ugh I love Bali so much. Need to go back here for a few nights in the New Year 💕
Much agree. I have a few ideas in mind…

Thanks for that, Joel! Will have a word with Harry and see if there’s anything that can be adjusted 🫡
Great video Jord 🎉
Thanks fam!
I passed there so many times and never stopped once, always shooting in Selat :) Need to get the banger next time :)
It’s such a fascinating area, so no doubt you found something equally (if not more) beautiful of your own! That’s what it’s all about 🫡
Such a good video Jord!🔥
Cheers, Braydon! I’m sure some of these places feel slightly familiar…
Looks like such an epic place. Great vid
Thanks mate! It really is. Highly recommend renting a bike and getting lost there. So much beauty.
@@jordhammond well, settled then. I’ll add it to my photography bucket list.
Let me know how you get on 🫡
Great video mate! When is the China book coming...?
Thanks Tom! Ugh, no idea. If it ever happens, I’d need to go back and shoot everything over again. Best guess would be 5-10 years minimum 😂
What is the wireless mic you are using here?
Nice shots, what was the BTS camera? Thanks, Cheers!
Cheers mate! I believe the BTS was shot on the Sony A7Sii. Will check with Harry and will edit the comment if it turns out I’m lying 🫡
