How to remove and replace a bulb on a Mercedes C 250

I’m wincing as you use that screwdriver to remove those plugs. Good job it’s an old wreck you don’t mind scratching.

This definitely isn’t how u take out the tail light lol all
U do is that the bolts off and pull it out all that other stuff was definitely not needed

Do you have to get the bumper out of the way to remove taillight assembly.

You don't need to take out the assembly to replace the non LED bulbs, the portion inside the trunk unclips and comes out in order to replace them, you just need to unplug the connector. this is why it cost so much when you go to a place that does not know the car, they take it all apart to change a bulb lol. to do it the right way, check out this video th-cam.com/video/OdrzLdBWmOg/w-d-xo.html

I just found out after I took the rubber nails. I didn’t use common sense. Which car designer in their right mind to have a design where the owner has to take all the steps just to replace a burned light bulb. Even my car mechanic did not think the brake bulbs can be replaced without replacing the LED lights.

You don’t need to do all that to replace bulbs, two grey clips on bulb holder removes bulb holder assembly.
