So many good quotes to take away! Rick: “they’re still outside smoking and scrolling Tinder!” Matt: “there’s an emergency phone number on the back, but the problem is I don’t even know how to dial it!” 😂
I've enjoyed the "From the Road" series- and this was the perfect capstone, exactly what BROG nation was looking for- the local jerky scene. Are you adding that to the board so that there's an absolute 'floor' where the flavor isn't any worse than that?
Happy to hear we provided a laugh! Unfortunately, no chance of a collab. The fines for trying to get this stuff back to the states doesn't quiet match the culinary experience eating it.
Wow, totally insensitive guys, those kids are really missing. The kids' pictures on the cans is our equivalent of a kid's picture on a milk carton. Seeing the success of our milk cartons the Norwegians starting putting kid's pictures in their most popular food items. If you read the fine print, any information that leads to their location either dead or alive nets a reward of $3.50.

Haha, appreciate it the love for our ramblings.

Haha, we thought it was too good to pass up. Honestly the fish jerky wasn't that bad. It tasted surprisingly close to fried fish.
Guys! We've not laughed so hard in a while. Thanks for sharing little "bits" of Norway (pun intended). Looking forward to more "frank" discussions.
Any chance of a collaboration with the canned baby/toddler company for Blue Ridge Overland Gear survival rations? Heck, they may even make decent leveling blocks when stacked! 😂
Thanks for the entertainment and we both own and love your gear!

So that's 3,500 Norwegian Kroner, or is it 35,000?
@@BlueRidgeOverlandGear It's liver pate. The kids on the can is an old tradition, because kids usually like this on their sandwiches.
It was pretty good. My grandparents used to eat similar sandwich spreads.
You need to try Rakfisk, Lutefisk and Hakarl...yum.
I'm honestly afraid to google what those are...
You have to go to Iceland to try Hákarl.
But make sure to experience May 17th. Our constitution day.
We've heard it's great. We want to go back and explore further north. It was a great trip with beautiful scenery, and everyone was incredibly nice.
