    • @kraftingkars
      @kraftingkars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Making 408 to the wheels now. Stock fuel lines would probably be ok as long as you had an upgraded fuel pump wired to a dedicated relay. If you're looking to go 400+ I would recommend upgrading your lines, that way you can make them e85 rated, running e85 is safer at that power level as well.

    • @kraftingkars

    • @kraftingkars
      @kraftingkars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      an fittings do not require thread tape, they make their seal by using a 37 degree taper, similar to a flared brake line. Just make sure you got them nice and tight and the tapered mating surface is clean👍 with barb fittings a ethanol safe rubber line will work just fine👍

    Is it possible to run a QD on the other fitting on the fuel pump? Also since the ChaseBays fuel line kit adapts to the hard line, would I just run the 6AN straight to the fuel filter and then the return line get a barb fitting to use with the existing ChaseBays one? Since I’m running a stock style FPR return.

    • @kraftingkars
      @kraftingkars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't believe you can run a qd fitting on that return barb, the way that line is flared you wouldn't be able to slide a qd fitting all the way on. Yep! Sounds like your plan to run 6an to your fuel filter should work, as long as you have a 6an fuel filter or are able to adapt your own threads. And yep you can use a 6an to barb fitting adapter to hook up to your stock fpr rubber fuel return hose
