i don't mind the delay either, i feel like the true classic mmo experience would have been they took the game down for maintenance and the servers would be down for the whole delay. i prefer this modern approach of letting us keep playing more 🤣 I just prefer they never update on a Friday, the devs deserve a better weekend than that!

How long are we waiting for simple stuff like right click to stack in bank to be fixed? I know its 3 guys but 2 months for high priority stuff is kinda wild. Hope the unity update allows them to focus down after it.
I wonder the same thing. If you have followed the game Enshrouded the have been in EA for a year and have done like 4 massive update. I talking basically fully fleshed out areas of the map each update. Let’s hope they can up the efficiency to keep the player base engaged.
I’m new to the game. And it’s a dumb question. Do gear even matter much in this game? I see t3 or end game gear are only like +3 to 2 stats or 1. Like increase 1.2% to hit chance. Going from 10% to 11.2% hit chance is seem so minimal of upgrade. Am I missing something here?
When there are 10+ slots, and you upgrade all of them, that will be a significant change. If each piece did 5% per upgrade, you quickly run into big problems in the later game. It matters, but it matters in the long term and not short term. Though I agree I wish it could FEEL better. The big improvements are really from leveling because of the "hidden" buffs or nerfs depending on whether you attack something lower or higher level.
@@adowens0004 10% hit chance vs 10 slot worth of upgrade to 15% hit chance with bis is still a lot of chance to miss. Going from 10phys weapon to best weapon currently to 12phy is literally 2 sec faster per mob
@Eqnotalent i dont know what the actual formula is, so i was assuming linear. If 1 stat improvement was 1.2% more then 10 would bring the 10% to 22%, not 15%. But yeah, I agree if 10 slot upgrades only got you 5 percent, that would feel even worse. My example is if it increased by 5 percent per upgrade(per slot) then there would be problems. So one level at one slot doing 1.2% is ok if each slot can be upgraded 3-6 times and there are 10 + slots. (3-6 upgrades is a guess. I have no idea.)
this is a very small, very inexperienced, very amateurish dev team but also very passionate and deeply involved with their game they are making all the usual early access and pre-alpha development mistakes, they are also very bad at communicating with the player base (too much info is as bad as not enough) we are going to need a lot of patience over the next few years (btw 2 years until release is absurdly optimistic, betting on at least 4) like you said whole systems have to be redone or still have to be created, whole classes need a rework first advice to Joppa: stop streaming so damn often, share less but better info about the game, a patch and a stream every 2 weeks would be so much better
My personal belief is the reason Joppa is streaming so much is because he's hoping to fall back on streaming should Pantheon not work out. Its his Plan B for when Plan A falls apart. He's expressed wanting to expand the team at VR but its not his choice or place to hire more devs and I think that's what will ultimately kill the game off in the long term. Too small of a dev team with not enough experience. Joppa himself wasn't even a game dev prior to working on Pantheon and is still very green in comparison to other lead creative designers.
If the Patch is just going to Bork the game yeah Hold back on it, its common sense. Why would anyone want to have them put out a Patch and then ruin a working game so that we then have to wait another week for them to fix it?

I think they're waiting a while to see how player power ends up settling at higher levels. Seeing how class abilities playout in-game so they can avoid power creep.
Mastery is such a major change to how abilities work that they want to have the Current abilities nailed down before adding the ability modify those abilities.
people do what is fun for them, what you see as grind another player might see as normal leveling, and the full game is probably 3 to 4 years away, if you want to wait that long, good for you, for me i am having fun with the game now
Im glad they aren't doing what bethesda does with their games & now blizzard too by releasing "patches" to change a broken game, likening it to smearing feces colored differently on the wall to clean it off by already existing fecal matter. I can't stand what has happened to those companies, I will be loyal to a game that allows me to feel like I am playing a true morrowind feeling mmo I failed to play everquest back when it was commercially released in 99 I am old enough to remember final fantasy 11 on ps2 & xbox I am at the right age for pantheon, this game is frustrating at times but its not that bad overall, I am willing to see where the dev's take this game. I am hooked on crafting boxes & bags & handing them out to new players for free, i wont just make tattered leatherrucksacks but cotton gatherers bag for people now since I found a great cotton plant area in avp thanks tosomeone telling me it was found in that forest.
I want to like this game. However, combat mechanics for melee are atrocious. 1. Melee defenses are weak and practically non existentant. 2. Melee damage is very, very low compared to casters. I wouldn't mind if melee defense actually did anything. 3. The only damage mitigation in this game is healing, period. 4. Melees have to roll to hit to get their heals to work, which is terrible, as a miss more often than not is death.
1) constitution(miss chance) and agi (dodge, parry, and block) 2) I agree 3) not true, the difference between a rogue and any tank is night and day 4)more dex 5) imo the stat increase to all of these should be 3x as much for melee and armor rating is just trash at low level.

Now, my summoner tank per is better than any player tank. He deals the same damage, and with sham and cleric buffs, I have been able to to be The main tank in level 20ish group while doing more dps than any other melee dps and providing super utility for the group The have had 10 years to develop the melee classes, and as it stands now, they are horrific. Even my monk is terrible. Melee powers Do not scale for some fkn reason. My iron palm hits the same as it hit at level 1 as an example.

They should not have pushed patch notes when there is no patch. Put it out in a different channel, but not in patch-notes.

I agree with 4 missing that Attk that heals you its Life or Death and feels bad becuase its such a dice roll.
