Hey, I appreciate you taking the time to make a guide like this. If I may come with some critique towards it then I would say that for the next guide you might want to make a run where you either explain the fight during the fight. Or where you try to explain the fight and then voice it over later. Trying to explain positions etc when you char is constantly running in circles and never looking at the thing you are explaining makes it impossible to understand what you are talking about.
I hear these points loud and clear, and understand what you’re saying about the gameplay not matching each mechanic explanation on screen - issue arises when I don’t have a set group of players to run and ask to slow down/stop the raid so I can hit those points per explanation - when I run in this game it’s generally off a pug discord group who want to get in and out, so I have limited time to capture the encounter and then go back and explain via edit - with that said I do understand the frustration as I should have mentioned in this video that players should have some idea of the encounters mechanics, and that this video explains how most pug groups run the fights these days (ie example of buddy and Lucy, as you don’t see me explain the 2/6 or 3/5 split that used to happen when not bringing them to sides etc as was tradition 2 years ago)
strongly suggest using discord server via phone app or webpage to join which console/pc you have (setup on channel is easy, based on which emotes you click on login) - go here and watch for raid groups setting up in raid voice channels - just join the raid, and let them know you're a newer raider - people generally will teach or help out if you let them know you're newer - discord.gg/thedivisiongame Hope this helps out ! I am a PC player so if you're on pc, I usually am in those pug runs or on twitch.tv/crifology running!
