Man I loved this video. So real on so many things you said. Just want to let you know that Cosmic Fury does use sentai footage from Kyuranger but only very little.
The problem is the person u mentioned in the video was the only person who saw potential in the franchise when he brought it now that he has passed away the rest of the company is showing they don’t want it but not willing to sell it to someone who does want it they are just going to sit on the franchise and do nothing with it sort of like how the BBC pretty much sat on doctor who for 16 years aside from the tv movie that failed to produce another season and I think instead of selling the props off they should be put in a power rangers experience that would be similar to the doctor who experience that was in the uk and the lightning collection has issues from the start from head sculpts not looking like the actors to bad paint jobs on figures for example
I really agree, genuinely. I wish they had done something to respect the brand as opposed to just burying the brand, it's such a shame. I would have loved an experience be made.
@@noimthequestion I have been a fan since I was 8 years old watching day of the dumpster on fox kids and this is the second time the franchise was acquired where it was not totally wanted cause when Disney got it they didn’t want it they got it like a consolation prize when they bought fox family and rebrand it abc family cause it had been airing on fox family since the end of the fox kids lineup but the difference is they just let run in the background of the company essentially on autopilot unlike hasbro that is now sitting on it
You’re not wrong a billion dollar goose that they sold for a million dollars is perfect explanation. When you have people buying old morphers for 100+ in so many different power rangers eras. I would start by remaking those.
It really is a shame, they had such an opportunity on their hands but they just didn't have any faith in it. I really hope this isn't the end, but it doesn't look great.
I personally think that having crossovers with Super Sentai would have helped and actually created new avenues, but I actually like the show so... Way to go Hasbro (not really, no)
They really should have embraced the Sentai aspect of it, there are so many fans of Sentai as a whole who also love Power Rangers. If they had done that, as opposed to trying to OVER American-ize it, it would have lasted a lot longer.
