- Season 04, Episode 102 (day fourteen): sup crew! welcome to 2024 opening day at copper mountain! to round out our colorado trip, we tackled one last opening day at Copper Mountain! it was kind of a sporadic video with guest appearances, a photo shoot and some extra video footage. didn't really feel like my typical, focused vlog - but riding with friends and going with the flow is what its all about after all!

Here we go! Another season and more pow and more adventures. I went down to Mammoth for opening weekend. It was straight up combat skiing but it was still good to be back on skis. Looking forward to checking out resorts I've never skied through your channel. Stay warm, stay safe!

I’m heading back to copper at the end of the season can’t wait loved that mountain. Just drove 6.5 hours for opening day at Sunday River in the am STOKED!

A really fun day! The top of Ptarmigan can be i-c-y. The rest of the runs look like decent snow. I'll be there tomorrow to check it out.
One question, I've noticed in your skiing you'll just randomly throw in a skid. Even with no one close by. What's up with that?

Funny story to tell when I saw that their was no traffic. Last year I was heading out to Winter Park for a trip, it was snowing so hard and their was tons of traffic. We rented a Airbnb and the last mile took us one hour to get there 😢

Lucas would you consider doing an east coast trip eventually? It would be cool to see the difference in conditions and size of the mountians.
The long-standing deal is if the channel ever hits 100,000 subscribers, we will do an east coast tour. Other than that, I grew up on the east coast and really have no desire to go back.

I was at BRECK today 11-14-2023 and there was plenty of the word that cannot be spoken.. I used some GoodWill skis and they were sliding all over the place;)
I miss Copper.. I have skied a few times and I liked it.. Last year you were there for the racers.. I am going to keep working on you to get on some carvers;)

I think the 106 is a good groomer ski! It would be cool to try something more apt for hardpack, just don’t really want to buy another pair of skis when I already have 5 lol

Great content as always brother. Question around goggles, I’ve been through tons of different pairs and I always find mine crush my nose and prevent breathing. Your seems to fit perfect, do you have any tips? Or do I just keep ordering until I find a pair that works? Rocking the Bode Millers right now which are better but not perfect.
hey man - have you ever looked into your helmet? if your helmet is too big or too loose, it will push your goggle frame down onto the bridge of your nose. i wouldn't just keep ordering goggles though - if you have a ski shop nearby, i would go in with your helmet and try some on
@@LucasCatania17 I actually just resized my helmet for the reasons you described. I’ll take it in a try a bunch on. Sadly I’m very limited as I don’t live in ski country so I can’t even get custom footbeds made where I live. I’ll go shopping as soon as I hit whitefish this year. Your girlfriend, (Tara/Kara?) seems awesome. The fact that she travels around with you in a van speaks volumes. So yes, go ahead and pop the question.
