Dude scary tumble there! I had a crash like that last year when I finished flipping over hit the tree with my leg shattered it in 8 places! Take it easy out there when conditions aren’t great. No need to push it.

Good advice on the fall. It's also cool that you showed that so you seem a bit human :) When the conditions are like that sometimes you're just going to run into some sketchiness I guess
Great learning point there on the fall. Get those feet down below you in a fall. Skiers learn to fall! Also I love that you're always repping Syracuse. I haven't lived in Rome since 1980 but I still say that is where I'm from. You don't hear the upstate NY accent so much with you, but Papa Joe, yes, yes you hear it! LOL Safe travels Lucas!

@@LucasCatania17 Yup I graduated RFA in 78. My best friend played Hockey. He was a badass! He was a better tennis player. We were state chamions in doubles, he and I. Where did you go to school? We played different schools from 'Cuse back in the day.

You had a little bit of everything there. I am quite impressed on how you are able to manage with such thin conditions. Good skiing on Portuguese Gap, Six Bells and Scott’s Bowl. I hope there will be a lot more snow when you return to Utah. Zermatt is 22 days away 😊⛷❄️

Nice to see runs being opened, I’ll be at whitefish in 5 days and pray we get more snow, really thin for this time of year. I know most west coast resorts have been light on snow this season.

Wow, it looked a bit thin there for the grade, Lucus. Copper wasn't any better today, and a rock sliced one of my new Cronics 😢. I'm looking at Aspen for Sunday and Monday, and really wishing i was more of a double black and ex skiier. There is so much of it there. Hope the grades and the surface are both soft. I don't expect we'll be on the same run while there, but can't wait to see you're Aspen video.

It is a slower lift but I think it’s fitting for the zone!

The difference between Thursday and Friday on Jupiter was crazy. Friday morning as opposed to friday afternoon was almost night and day. Friday afternoon was perfect!

yeah i went with 110mm on mine! ski shop can stretch them out that extra width they need no problem.

Unicorn! Do you run the unicorn mount with a single stick or multiple extensions? From the angle I am guessing one. My unicorn has three screw/unscrew sections, can use with up to 3. Nice video as always
just a single stick! i have other extensions but it gets pretty tough to ski with more length due to the extra weight. thanks man!

Lucas! I love your videos. Some friends and I are skiing Utah (Park City, Snowbird, Brighton, maybe Deer Valley) for the first time at the end of January. Any suggestions of must hit runs, or which resorts we should spend the most time at? I am an Ikon pass holder with a three day epic pass. We're thinking a day each at Snowbird and Brighton, then three days at PC.
thanks man! definitely cant go wrong with a day at snowbird! alta is also worth hitting maybe instead of brighton (unless you have snowboarders). PC for three days would be awesome and i also think you would enjoy snowbasin in northern SLC!

We do have a snowboarder with us, so that's why there is no alta on the list and why deer valley is a maybe, as it would be closer to where we are staying. But i am super excited for Snowbird and PC. Plus I am still searching for the perfect pair of mittens.. Last season I went up the lift with someone who had real leather mittens.. They said that they were the cheap ones you get at a gas station.. Well I still haven't found them..

A lot of times I can't see the trees or rocks until you go over them.. Normally you are jumping over them..
