I've just completed my first month of project panning and I've LOVED it! I used up two items and made awesome progress on so many others. It's keeping me so motivated and strangely it's also encouraging me to use items that aren't in the project, as I'm trying to rotate through everything and see what I actually like and want to keep and what can be decluttered. I'm so glad I started. I didn't even know what project panning was until you and Hailey started doing it, so I credit you both with giving me the push I needed to start using my collection instead of just constantly buying more makeup. Thank you 🙂
Making progress! Trying to use up samples, trial sizes, etc. Also rearranged my makeup drawer to make some items accessible. Gave some items I knew I'd never use to friends so they can enjoy them rather than have items go bad.
I would love to see some videos on your town/city you live in. Parks, neighborhood strolls, mall shopping and especially videos of strictly Australian cosmetics in your local makeup store or drugstore. Just an idea that wouldn’t cost you anything except getting out for the day & enjoying the scenery
Woah great progress already! A suggestion for those Hourglass lipsticks would be to put a little sticker on your fave one, although I don't know if the beautiful packaging is important to you and if that would ruin the experience or not?
They all give a fairly similar look to be honest, so I just grab any of them haha. The berry is the only one that I need to be in the mood to wear, and that's in the refill packaging so it's easy to spot 😊
Hey, Kat! The same thing happens to me when I put on liquid eyeliner. If I only do one eye at a time, I find that I can get my mascara on before the liner dries and clumps them up. It's a bit tedious, but it works for me. I hope this helps! Good luck with your items!
Thanks! Yeah I do try to do that, but with it starting to dry out there isn't much working time. I might try to put some Duraline in it and see if that helps a bit ❤
I am in the almost-done trap of having a dozen products nearly done and introducing the new thing, so I have both now. I need to focus face almost-dones this month: 2 brow products, 3 face moisturizer minis, 2 eye creams, 1 eyeshadow stick with 1 cm left. MAC Whirl started last month is 1/3 gone.
I'm getting ready to finish my Lanolips Glazed Donut, I think I originally said I thought it smelled like brown sugar, but after having worn it a lot I smell pancake syrup. Sugary sweet fake restaurant-style pancake syrup. And I don't hate it, LOL!
I used to project pan but last year I completely fell off the wagon. So, this year I decided to do a 24 in 2024 😂 which is a little bit ambitious, but I already finished an eyeliner and actually 3 items are palettes (where my goal is to hit pans and maybeeee finish an eyeshadow each, so far 0 pans but 2 where brand new). I'm veeeery close on a couple more things which I hope to have done by February or march. I'm skeptical about having everything finished by December but I hope to have at least three lipsticks out, which is my biggest concern
Hi Kat. How are you finding Elf brow pencil? I bought mine just before Christmas-ish from AU Elf site, so it's new. And from the moment it arrived and I've tried the pencil to fill in the brows I found it to be very dry with very little colour payoff. Dry to the point of scratchy. I even broke off first 1-2mm to see if further down it won't be as dry. What is your experience? Or am I just using this pencil wrong or have wrong expectations about application? Thanks!
Hey! It definitely is a drier pencil, but I haven't personally had issues with it having little colour pay off, but that could be simply variation between the shades. The shade I have is Neutral Brown and it has been fine, but it definitely is on the drier scratchier side of brow pencils and I probably won't repurchase it
I swear your channel is the reason why I keep up with Australian/US exchange rates. Your prices give me heart attacks sometimes.
Crying in Turkish😭
The progress in the hourglass lipsticks is definetly noticeable! Keep up the good work and don't stress yourself about it😊

That's so great to hear! Sounds like you're a planner at heart! It is really a great feeling using up your collection. ❤❤❤
I know you love a red lip, but these tones on you are delightful.
I also use the Flower Beauty foundation in L2. It’s the best colour match I’ve ever found for me. Nice to see someone else who likes it.

It’s an interesting idea but I really don’t enjoy vlogging and I don’t like showing areas close to where I live for privacy reasons ☺️
“If only” is my favourite 😂, I’m also trying to pan it now!

Love the benefit brow gel! I even use it to tame flyaways sometimes, but yes when it gets old the gel congeals and looks quite gross
It's so good! Mine is super old but I think keeping it in a drawer has kept it in perfect condition
I love it, too. I do wish they would let that weird packaging go and just put it in a sleek tube, the thing takes up too much room!

@@KitschSnitch ooo I’ll be interested to see 👀
Im going to have to try the HG lips as blush what a good idea!

Well done ❤
Maybe you could put different colored nail polishes on the handle of the hourglass lipsticks so that you’ll be able to differentiate them.
The packaging is refillable, so I want to keep it in decent condition ❤️
Noticed that theres a pinprick sized pan shining through in the Kevin Aucoin palette on the deeper shade side!
Sadly there isn’t 😅

That’s fantastic progress! Well done ❤️
Had no clue you had a channel! New sub!
Welcome!
Sadly, most of my first month I was sick or snowboarding so I didn’t use anything more than twice😢 maybe next month I’ll do better
yey! great progress :D I love to watch this series!
Wow, I didn't know the elf brightening concealer had so little product! I need to double check how much fl oz or volume for future concealers now...
Yeah I think it is designed to be used very lightly, if you want even medium coverage you will burn through it in a few months
❤

Good thing the blush is almost gone

@@KitschSnitch Thanks. The shade variation makes sense. Mine is Taupe. I am using mine, but similarly - won't repurchase.
