A truly nasty man he treated his poor dead wife terribly and ignores his illegitimate son he is far from being a gentleman and is just got a pub singer voice and looks don't like him at all !!!!
Oh shut up Isobel, those that feel the need to judge others are usually miserable with their own life. Watch a few more interviews and you might answer why both of those situations occurred and find he is a very humble, very kind gentleman.
