I was there at Avengers campus opening day and I was thoroughly impressed with the land, however, the way it was managed was pretty frustrating. I wish they would have set something up like when galaxy’s edge opened with reservation times to enter and exit. They set up a standby line but no one was leaving the land so that meant 3-4 hour wait times for the standby line. If your going to go to this land go super early in the morning to be the first one there or wait a couple months until covid restrictions lift.
I too am very curious why they didn't do a land entrance queue and limit time in the land like with the opening of GE. Maybe they think the hype won't last as long? I'd love to see it slow down before my next trip end of July, but likely that's just wishful thinking. 😅
@@genaf9885 I say just get there as early as possible even before park opening. Try to park away from Mickey and friends structure so u don’t have to worry about waiting till that structure opens. Kitra and Peter have talked a lot about other places to park so that’s really helpful. Also don’t forget to mobile order. I heard today that they changed it so u have to be in the land to mobile order. Before u could be at ur hotel and mobile order for example.

I remember getting the boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance back when it was super new. I made sure not to celebrate because i knew a lot of people wouldn’t be getting in and I didn’t want to make them feel worse. It was pretty obvious looking at people’s faces who got in and who didn’t.
I like how the president of Disneyland is just freindly talking to guess in the middle of the park during opening day. And no one seems to know who he is. Which is kinda funny.

360 minutes is 6 hours! Holy crap! I've never waited that long for anything at Disney ever! And I grew up going to Disney because my dad worked for the painters union who worked for Disney! So he painted the 25th anniversary castle! And he was also sent over to China to help build and paint the Disney over there (fun fact) lol he helped paint space mountain and it's a small world! Everytime I go to Disney now as an adult I have a little piece of my dad with me! 🥰

The Golden Section has been used to create architecture since the Ancient Romans based off of the Fibonacci sequence The third slot shows the Unit Circle in Radians. Not sure what the fourth slot is, but the fact they took the time to put all of those diagrams in. *clap clap clap clap* Good job Disney! Press day. I tried yesterday (saturday) and it was. 3 hour wait. Nope. Gonna try again today (sunday) by getting a web slingers boarding pass. 10 min to 7am!!!
They were there at 7 I bet. At 8 it was a "forced march" line that snaked so much ended up walking a mile. 😳 Folks didn't leave cause they couldn't! If you left you were OUT! Didn't matter if you had a mobile order. And that was IF you could get one. Then there was the closing of the stand-by lines. Told 3 or 4 times "line closed". By end of day I unloaded on the people at City Hall. If you go in the next month, take water, refillable water bottle, food/snacks. You will NEED them!

One other thing I noticed about GE was that when the fireworks were going off we were standing there watching them in a huge crowd with no music at all...which is unusual since all the park has the music going. I said outloud to my gf, "this seems like a missed opportunity, they could have played the fireworks and celebration music from the end of Return of the Jedi because of the Death Star blowing up" and like 20 people around us went, "OH YEAH!" and all of started laughing lol.

The food looks good and really the whole park looks cool, I still wish it was bigger that’s all but still looks cool.
I’m hoping getting a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance will be easier now that people will have to choose one of two rides to try to get a group for instead of everyone trying for one ride. I somehow got to go on Rise when i went to Disneyland last month, but it was so stressful.

We usually do 2 days in Disneyland and 1 day for DCA.
