Dragon Ball Z is about a man named Goku that lives on earth and finds out he came from a different planet and doesn't know how powerful he is until villains from other planets come along.

The speeches goku gave to cell when giving up and to gohan when motivating him to fight are why he was my role model growing up. So humble and confident even when cell was stronger it was still so hard to believe he couldn't win
Now this is where Gohan vs Cell begins.
The Cell Games arc is one of the best arcs
Let's go, we finally made it to my favorite fight in all of DBZ! I like how Goku is so confident in Gohan winning that he literally gives Cell a Senzu Bean to make the fight more fair. I'm so hyped for the next few episodes, especially episodes 184 and 191!
Lads I'm so psyched for this one! Watching this back for the Xth amount of times it's crazy that we didn't see the foreshadowing got Gohan..
OH YEAH!!!!! My boy has grown so strong! I can't wait for the next episode!
Alex is going to have his mind blown soon. I also like how everybody else knows and are just excited to see it happen again.
You know, Gohan is definitely a good kid, and he for sure loves Goku as a father if he is willing to do what his father says in the situation, at any rate the Z Fighters had to have been surprised when he saw Gohan Power up like he did
Also Cell didn't even make Goku rip his Gi like Frieza and Vegeta did, there's something odd about that
@DevilMarioProductionsGoku was fighting to win. But he eventually realized he couldn't. His shirt got nothing to do with it.

Gohan is a real Beast
Biggest twist in dragon ball history and it’s amazing it flips the script now that it’s not Goku that’s gonna fight Cell this arc is fantastic hope you guys enjoy
It was clear that cell and Gohan was gonna fight cause him and Gohan both got there transformation in the same episode. Cell became perfect and Gohan became a super Saiyan. Plus most of the episodes was center around Gohan

What I found really interesting is that when Gohan was getting his ass Beat to pulp they showed everybody's reaction except for Vegeta I wonder what his thought process was.
I don't think he would have done this to Trunks but it all worked out barely Piccolo was legit pissed off at Goku.
And I always found it interesting they all treated Gohan like a son they loved him even Vegeta who wasn't too fond of Gohan at the time did not approve of this method.
He didn't say anything but you can just see it on his face.

After Goku gave Cell a senzu bean , he got a zenkai boost from that too. So he is way stronger than Goku at this point , higher than his previous power level . So Gohan at full power SS1 is way stronger than everybody else
No…. Zenkais only come from near death experience, not from being damaged and healed. The only Zenkai Cell gets is later, no spoilers.

@@grydon6422 No he's actually quite a bit stronger. It may not have been much of a zenkai but cell was holding back greatly against Goku. At the start of this fight he was fighting at at least the same level he used on Goku, maybe more, but Gohan was dodging all of those hits like nothing. So then cell started using more of his power and started pummeling Gohan but Gohan is still tanking those hits without any real damage and a smile on his face. And these are attacks much stronger than what was used on Goku. And Gohan only is getting beat up cuz he doesn't even defend himself in the episode that follows. The second he starts trying he puts cell on his ass with one kick.
Stop talking bullshit and making shit up. Zenkai boost comes from near death experiences, period.
He didn't, zenkai boost are only triggered by near to death experience, mutilation also doesn't trigger zenkai boost, it's never mentioned by cell or any character so there's any reason to believe so.
Vegeta stated on Namek a Saiyan gets stronger after every battle, he does also state that after a near death experience the boost is alot higher, so Cell will have surely recieved some boost to his power level?

Kai version sucks especially during buu saga
