Hi Demi, I have worn Minuit et Demi enough times now to be able to say that I absolutely love it. The scent is very addictive, soothing, classy and refined. It lasts on me all day. It is very work appropriate because it has a light touch but is also powerful in terms of longevity. It is also perfect for an evening out to dinner as it would never interfere with enjoying a meal or bother anyone seated at the same table. For people who do not yet own a bottle, I would have to say that, "If you like the same fragrances as Demi (which I already knew I did before purchasing), then you need to add Minuit et Demi to your collection. You will be very glad you did!"

I love gourmands, those are my favorite types of fragrances. Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid are my favorites at the moment. Black Orchid, on me, smells like dark, earthy chocolate with cinnamon. And Velvet Orchid smells like vanilla cake covered with rum, orchids, and honey.
I'm a gourmand lover, so this list was right up my alley! After hearing so many great things about Sultan, I'd love to try it. And Carolina Hererra's private line is new to me, so I'll try to find it!

I have a decant of Italica and I’m sooo glad to hear the bottles are back and that there will be a code!! Demi doesn’t lie, this is an incredible scent, truly special and maybe the best gourmand I’ve ever smelled. I was vacillating between it and Angel’s Share and in my opinion Italica is much better, so I’m glad I waited!
I just got Italica in the mail a week and a half ago. It is freaking amazing. I wanted to eat the test strip. Smelled even better on skin. Best blind buy to date.

I was very surprised because on me it lasts a very long time and it does project a lot!! And I had heard in some reviews it didnt project that much, well on me it does really well... For me its the perfect balance as too much projection wouldnt work on me! But after 12 hours It still last on my skin! I will also wait for your Xerjoff review, very excited about that !! Tiger balm is my go to fragrance. The smell embraces Strength of the tiger and smoothness of the balm. Great for clubbing and before you go to bed. It is a masterpiece.

But I'm also still obsessing with the overture… Anyway I got my hands on a cheapie today that smells really good, it's called SOL… It's the Brazilian bum bum cream fragrance… But I keep getting a with all day thinking to myself what did I wear today? I bought ani, intense cafe and oud bouquet all because of you and they are some of my winter favourites. Hate the montale bottles as well. Good to hear munuit et demi is coming back. Will it be available to try in shops? It's good to have the comparison with changing Constance and at leastt it gives me a hint of how it would smell like. Don't want to blind buy expensive fragrances and end up putting them in the deepest corner in the cupboard.

I like gourmand but I don't want to smell like a cake or chocolate bar, I recently sampled a perfume and I smelled like I spilled a caramel frappuccino on myself and that is not appealing to me. To me a perfect gourmand to me is like Montale Arabians Tonka. I freaking love it.

Just so you know "minuet," the way you pronounce it, is a ballroom dance. "Minuit," the way it is pronounced (min wee), means midnight. :)
