Thanks, Mike. I'm picking the hobby back up after many years and want to make a conversion / adapter car so that I can connect some older rolling stock to a new Kato locomotive that I just bought, but have been frustrated at trying to figure out what to buy ... luckily for me you held the package in front of the camera long enough for me to read the MT part number, so I'm going to give those a shot. Thanks!
Good job, Mike! Ah, the wonders of installing Micro-Trains trucks. They sure make N scale coupling better. Take care and happy rails to you! -from Tom Pilling
Thanks im new to n scale and bought some used rolling stock with the rapido couplers and thought I was stuck. Now I know what couplers to buy and how easy they are to replace with micro trains line.
Ok,I'm confused on the different shank sizes,I have alot of older atlas cars and I want to convert them to micro trains trucks,I have 50 ' boxcars, centerflow cars,40 ' boxcars and so on....uuugh,do I get short shank, medium shank, long shanks,LOL ?....Or all of the above?

Mostly short shank. I only use medium for certain 50' cars that have cushion underframes. And long shanks for 85' piggyback or auto carrier.
Looks like you should have chose the medium instead of the short coupler extension???
I like the cars close together. That car close to the limit but still runs well on tight curves.
Thanks.
Thanks.
