The matter is, like always, more complicated. In Czech and Slovak there is also the word planina (mountain plateau, or just flat high mountainous region, this is even part of professional terminology) and polonina (mountain pasture); an important part of Carpathians is called Poloniny (this probably means just high mountains, you would have to check this, and you mention this partly in the video). Also, in Slovak, the correct word in professional terminology for a mountain is not hora anymore, but vrch, although common people use both. Also, it should be hore/navrchu (position) - nahor/dohora/navrch/hore (direction) in Slovak.

Da, na hrvatskom se može kazati planina ili gora, ali gora je manja od planine.
