    The VALECO is a modern, aerodynamic and perfectly ventilated helmet, weighing only about 30 grams more than its bigger sibling, HJC’s Ibex. 6:30 HJC Furion 2.0
    The Furion 2.0 is considered an uncompromising design masterpiece as it combines remarkable aerodynamics and efficient ventilation.
    Thanks to HJC’s experience in MotoGP racing helmet conception, the FURION‘s aerodynamic, innovative, and simple design increases its performance and airflow for optimal air penetration and improved air cooling capabilities.

    8:28 HJC Ibex 2.0
    The IBEX 2.0 road helmet is an ultra-lightweight and comfortable helmet designed to provide optimal ventilation. Its unique shape improves aerodynamics and allows it to evacuate heat more quickly.
    Available at Wiggle here www.wiggle.co.uk/hjc-ibex-20-...
    Developed in HJC’s own wind tunnel laboratory, the IBEX integrates the Venturi Dynamics to balance the air resistance force. The helmet is perfectly suited for intense effort and hot weather conditions thanks to its impressive and well balanced design.
    With over 45 years in commitment to excellence and advancement in helmet technology, HJC has mastered the art of making helmets to premium standards. The brand has distribution in over 65 different countries worldwide, with various helmet categories representing 20% of the European motorcycle helmet market.
    The tests in HJC’s wind tunnel laboratory and the direct feedback of top Moto GP riders, have enabled HJC to improve the fitting and aerodynamics of its helmets. The applied Venturi Dynamics considerably reduce the drag force at high speed and balance the air resistance force with exhaust ventilation.
    HJC is heavily involved in MotoGP racing as the title sponsor of several major races over the past years, the 2016 Grand Prix of Czech Republic and the 2017 and 2018 Grand Prix de France. HJC is the first helmet company to title the sponsorship of a MotoGP calendar race event. The previous HJC Grand Prix races have had great success and HJC wanted to continue to support the highest level of motorcycle racing while expanding their global presence, so an executive decision was made to move their support to Sachsenring in Germany.
    Being the #1 helmet manufacturer in the world for over 17 years, HJC has a legacy to nurture. HJC invests heavily in design and development in a variety of categories, working hand in hand with global partners and advanced technologies.HJC plans to develop and manufacture next level cycle and snow helmets, with strategic choices made in the creation and introduction of new construction methods.

    Would you change to an HJC helmet?

      Great video. I've liked the look of HJC helmets since Lotto Soudal started wearing them but hadn't seen one close up. I can now see my next helmet being HJC but choosing between the Furion and Ibex will be difficult.

    Getting bored with the Protone which everyone has. I think the Furion 2.0 could be a nice replacement. Although i think less air and more aero

    And how are the straps? Are they just seat belt material all the way around or do they have a leather chin strap like Kask?

    • @wiggle

    Is the shell is the difference between small and large?

    • @wiggle
      @wiggle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jay, Yes the shell changes size according to the helmet size, hope that helps 👍

    There is no mention of any MIPS type protection?

    • @wiggle
      @wiggle  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi M Davies,
      HJC have not incorporated MIPS in their lids. Although they are pushing their own proprietary internal reinforcement, it would be nice to see it featured 👍

    • @grndkntrl
      @grndkntrl 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There quite obviously isn't any MIPS, so any mention of its absence would be quite literally pointing out the obvious.

    You're reviewing a helmet but none of them you try it on your head. Or at least we can put it sunglasses or not
