I look to your work for inspection and to see how you would draw it 😄lol I'm just learning to draw manga and its harder than it looks exactly inking and coming up with creative original drawings. im guessing you mean how does he paint without the paper buckling and like going all wavy and the answer is he uses watercolour paper in a block. the edges of the paper are all glued tightly to other pieces of paper underneath which prevents the paper from going all funny. if thats not what you meant sorry just trying to help :)

Hi! does anyone know why, when I use Watercolor, the colour makes a sharp Edge , as it takes the path of the water? its so ugly, my faces are always full of rough edges :(
Look up wet-in-wet technique, Laovaan uses it all the time in his videos. Basically, if you want the face to have no sharp watercolor edges inside of it you always have to keep the whole face wet when working on it and push the hard edges to the outside lines of the face. In most of Laovaan's videos you can see that he frequently applies water to the whole face or other larger areas when he wants to work on them again in order to avoid sharp edges.
I almost cried because of how beautiful it is. I have no words. You and watercolors were created for each other.
