Love your videos, gentlemen! Can’t wait to hear about the laundry saga. I’m seated and eagerly waiting to hear about it. My husband and I are going on an Explora cruise in a couple of weeks; would love to see you guys try that line out sometime and hear your thoughts. Happy new year!

I'm watching your video when my husband walks by and sees Scotty take a bite of the lamb chops and he says "what's the lamb chop on the Scotty Scale?" 😂. And then he goes on to quotes Devil Wears Prada "there was only ever one recorded smile for Tom Ford back in..."😂😂😂. Love the videos Don & Scotty. Thank you!
I am a new subscriber from Sydney, Australia. Have watched a few of your VLOGS. Your partner, is it Scott should maybe crack a smile and not be so unimpressed with everything.

I'm thinking of booking a meal at the Verandah, but wandering if the lunch menu is worth it? Or go straight to the evening menu? I'd love your input. Thanks
The Lunch Menu Is Similar However There Are More Added Charge Items That Are Included On The Dinner Menu. On Cunard’s Website They Show Both Menus With Prices. I Hope This Helps. Thank You So Much For Watching
@code4forlife loved watching, and thanks for replying so quickly! I was really looking for your opinion of which experience is the better choice, given your C grade on the evening meal, haha! I have perused over both sample menus online :
2 stars off for lighting and music seems a little heavy handed if the food is good. My experience has been that UK steakhouses offer a distinctly different experience than US one- and this includes everything from ambiance to steak preparation. Thus I would expect a different steakhouse experience on a boat coming out of Southampton than I would on a boat that typically sails from the US. I'll give the Verandah a try myself soon, and hopefully won't be as disappointed as you guys were.

I definitely got the impression as you started out this video that this steak house on the Queen Mary 2 was not that good. Curious, was the cost exactly $65 or was there a "service charge" added on like Princess now does in the Crown Grill. Crown Grill was $45 plus 18% service charge which surprised me. Guess I will have to look at the menu closer. Thanks for sharing!!
Very disappointed I got better service in steerage back in 72 but in there defense I grew up in Nola and our steak houses didn’t offer calamari escargot and shrimp cocktail. - calamari was considered Italian restaurant appetizer
First off, Happy New Year to the both of you two nice gentleman.😊🥂 You two guys had a great trip doing your crossing on this beautiful oceanliner. Thank you for putting more of your videos together from you great trip.😊
Great video! Good to see the vintage Wedge Salad return to cruise menus! Princess' Crown Grill is still the benchmark for cruise steakhouses. You're right, a little more ambiance wouldn't hurt as it wouldn't cost that much for a few candles.
Love your channel. There are lots of cruise travel channels but they always gloss over the food and often spend about 10-15 minutes detailing their cabin. I almost fall asleep then they describe how nice the cabinet handles are or the type of shampoo they supply. I am all about the food, the good the bad and the ugly. Thanks for sharing these experiences. Bye the way, I love Scottie's honestly. He tells it like it is and I am guessing he comes from a foodie background.

Great 🎉
Hi guys, can we expect any more videos on this cruise?

@ I hope he feels better, any tooth work sucks :)

I've seen almost all of the videos and he most definitely is impressed when he has something really good. He knows a lot about food.

We have already eaten here twice, now we are going back so we can be dissatisfied and pout about it when they bring us a dish.

There Was Not A Service Charge Added To The Bill So We Left A Tip For Our Server. Great Question I Forgot To Mention That In The Video 😀
