Id do pentatonic differently. Shape you suggested on starting on fret 9 I do on 2 or 12, or F#m. Thanks for the backtrack

Right, E mixolydian is a mode of A Major. F# is the relative minor of A major.🤔 C#m would indicate E major, it does work also
