Have you ever played MLB Power Pros? It is a neat little game that was bigger in Japan called Yaggyu something or other, but it did get a release here in the US on PS2 in 2008. The graphics from this game remind me a bit of Power Pros. You have real major league players and their likenesses are done in a neat stylized form. There are standard game modes, but the best one is an RPG story mode where you can create your own player, take them through a journey to make it to the pros, earn power ups and special equipment to increase their abilities, and all of your choices matter. When you are finished your career you can save this character and then use them on a current MLB roster, or...create your own team and fill that roster up with your created players!
@@A_Sack_Of_Rice I didn't see this reply until I already posted mine. I would have to say MLB Power Pros 2008 on the PS2 (i didn't have a wii) is one of my all time favorites right up there with the original Baseball Stars for the NES.

It’s simple. Baseball requires at least thirteen players, consisting of three grabbers, three taggers, five twig-runners, one center tagger, and the player at whack-bat. The center tagger lights a pinecone on fire and throws it to the player at whack-bat. The player hits the pinecone and runs to knock a cedar stick off the cross rods. Then the twig-runners dash back and forth until the pine cone burns out and the umpire calls “Hotbox.” Finally, the score-downs are added up, then divided by nine.
This seems like you're actually enjoying this game, and I feel like it's been a while since you've shown real passion. Stick with it man, your content is great when you're having fun. I love this series.
This has gotta be one of my favorite baseball games of all time! Fun to watch, fun to play clearly, and underrated ACCURATE -- the frequency of weak contact groundouts and flyouts is high, as it is in RL baseball! Besides all the magic lol. Would love to see more!!!
It's amazing how quickly it is to get attached to players in sports games. I'm excited to see more and I sincerely hope you do my man. It's been fun to see Dan get better game to game and I for one would love to see if he can get a home run eventually
Been watching your videos for a while now. Saw the first episode of this and figured would be a good one to end the night on... Now I wait to see you post more of these. Keep them comin!!!
NTE, I have grown up playing the wii version of Little league 2008. Mid Atlantic was my favorite team because I love orange. A team you should use is South Eastern, the white and red team, Matthew Clark is a home run machine.
Love the content man, keep up the good work. Got some advice for you though, in order to run faster move the left joy stick side to side rapidly. That’ll help you leg out extra bases or beat out weak contact hits. Also to advance to the next base press x. Just want to see the rockets succeed and win the round robin pool
If you're ever in a pinch, you can also do the same thing with Adam pitching wise and if I remember correctly, he throws straight gas that I remember borderline being OP
This game looks a lot like a mobile baseball game called Baseball Star, not to be confused with the NES classic, Baseball Stars. Graphically it looks a lot alike and partially in the way it is presented. You start out with a generic team and as you play you earn points to invest in your current players or to buy cards of better players. It is free to play, but spending money can get your team powering up more quickly. I think it is worth a look.
i use to play this game everyday when i was ten. if you hold the left stick up when hitting it aims for pop flies and you have a higher chance of home runs
We need to see a Dan redemption arc in MVP Baseball and then MLB The Show! This kid can turn things around and become a great player once he learns how to handle the pressure.
Move drew to 3rd at bat. Best hitter goes at 3, that way they are assured to be up in first and gives you the best chance at getting runs in inning one
I think basically everyone agrees. Please give us more LLWS 2010. This is an entertaining game, this is entertaining commentary, and most importantly, it seems like you're really enjoying it.
I feel like you should put some other pitcher in when your team is up or down a lot, just to see who else on the team can pitch if it comes tournament time and Adam gets hit around

Nothing is better than NTE when you’re bored

Definitely 💯

Facts
No bc why is that so true bro
Gary Thorne in this game is insane, he’s the greatest hockey announcer and he’s the best play-by-play announcer in the NHL series
Both Doc Emrick and Bill Clement would like a word, even if they're both retired 😂
@@Mr_Jish Bill Clement is color commentary, he was Gary’s partner for many years
It’s not super insane, he was the Orioles PbP guy for a long time.

LOL
This game is a gem I’ve played since I was like 5

Clutch timing Drewski, I needed a NTE upload.
You can also use that three bar power-up while pitching for what's basically an automatic strikeout if you ever get in a defensive jam later on

This game is my childhood Drew. Thank you for brining all these memories back.
Love seeing you enjoying the Little League World Series game!
Haven’t heard Drewski this excited since the UGF days. It’s nice to hear it again, man
This is genuinely a fun game to watch, especially with your commentary.
Where were you when 9/11 happened, when Lebron broke the all time scoring record, when Tom Brady came back 28-3, when Dan got his first hit
A home run derby with Adam and Pablo Sanchez is something I would pay real money to see.
Dan is a left handed throwing second baseman... on the one hand I'm appaled but on the other hand it's Dan so I can't be mad.
Love your stuff. Glad I found your channel. Appreciate you
I'd love for you to play mlb power pros for wii sometime, very underrated game and it has a great career mode
It was also on PS2
Imagine a full season Livestream of this
I'd love this
