You had me at the image of the duck guzzling down a bottle of wine. :) Seriously, this is quite a nice layout with an unusual (but in a very good way) dinette design. A little freshening up and she's ready to go! Which, apparently, is what someone else thought since it's already under offer...
Very nice lay-out. I would remove the dinette (of course) and add a table and chairs to take full advantage of that side hatch, also to enlarge the saloon. Galley is nice, and I really like that someone finally added a large fridge, and raised it off the deck for much easier access. Engine bay is CLEAN! Somebody took very good care of this boat. Also, I like that they used 6v batteries. They charge faster, and give much longer performance when wired in series. I would add two more batteries, just to lessen the load on the solar system.
@@RetroRegan yes, I guess it is due to the increased demand from COVID restrictions and not being able to travel internationally for holidays. Nothing against people that are able to buy a narrow boat for a holiday home, but it does not make it any easier for those of us that want to be one as a live aboard and primary residence. Certainly the current situation is good for Rugby Boats, I would guess
@@DrMildayan I think the demand increase started a couple of years ago. People who might of bought holiday property in Europe got the jitters and bought a boat. The quest for alternative living also drives a lot of buyers in the younger end. It really has become a viable alternative to bricks and mortar.
@@dubliner1100 no worries at all. The possibilies are almost endless these days and the main restaint is the budget. I know of some who have a dishwasher and even an induction hob. A toaster is a relatively small consumer.
Impressive and high quality finished vessel and definitely worth the money! Just one question for those that know, does a bow thruster make that much difference, this being a 60ft which I believe doesn’t have one, I just wondered how important that is...or not!
i reckon the increase in narrowboats and campervans being sold is down to people wanting to be youtubers etc and in order to be a youtuber with a small youtube channel with no ad dollars means working full time to pay rent or a mortgage and being a part time youtuber or downsize to a campervan or narrowboat and stop paying rent and becone a full time youtuber and never work again
Finally a boat with a proper size fridge and freezer! Very nice boat overall
Love watching Bumble in the boat tours. If it passes his sniff inspection, it’s got to be a decent boat!
Bumble sold this before going to air lol.

Has an offer already. Love the layout. A bit dated and dark but could be updated easily. She’s a good one!
Your assistant Bumble really enjoys checking out the boats lol

This boat is almost perfect.......ticks 99% of all the boxes.
We love bumble, what a lad
Beautiful boat
Great layout! Reverse Trad. 👍
This is realy a nice boat, it seems someone already thought so too.
Up for 50 minutes, and already under offer? Good grief!
It was under offer when it was uploaded.
Uploaded for 1 minute and already under offer
Like watching one of those 1980s quiz shows. "Here's what you could have won" lol.

@@philelliott5327 now you mention it, I think you are probably correct. Of course this is good for Narrow boat dealers and all the related industry.
Is there a reason eg. safety thar none of these galleys ever have a toaster? Lovely boat great views as usual
My guess is power consumption
Lots of boats have toasters it's just that they don't tend to be included in the sale, hence there absence from these walk through videos.
@@dh4521 many thanks for your reply. I am exploring possibilities now that I am retired and appreciate all wisdom

Great for reversing

That seems a very fair price - hence the speed with which it was snapped up ! 😱
