Beautiful collection; however the dancers were such a distraction. They took away from focusing on the collection itself.

That was the point. The “fashions” were cheap and surperficial. Something had to distract from them. The really bad part was using adolescence to portrait Grecian sex slaves. Like we don’t have enough of the real thing. Disgusting.

I don't think this is Valentino's style. Piccioli is a shopkeeper who makes money with accessories and bags. What are the indications for summer 2024 fashion? I really wish I knew exactly because I don't understand it. Birkenstocks by Valentino for 1000 euros? They are ugly and they will be ugly and inelegant. I don't think this is the elegance of future years. The appeal of Piccioli as well as Chiuri will soon run out of non-creativity for women....I hope we can go back to rereading the past in an intelligent and non-vulgar way

The dancers were unnecessary. They were completely out of place. I could see the audience being distracted by them and not in a good way. Too much going on. I understand shows are bigger now than what they used to be in the 2000s, but sometimes less is better.
What is it with this performance art?. Aren't beautiful clothes enough?. It's pretentious and distracting.
Love this season's looks, but can you get someone else to shoot it who better understands that those of us watching want less of the dancers & random shots of how beautiful the place is and more of the clothes, how they wear, and how the model is walking in them. That final runway shot with all the clothes was a complete miss for me and I was hoping to just see the collection all together without a bunch of shots that make it hard to see the clothes in motion.
Valentino had to display in Milan, not in Paris cause he's Italian originally. Love the collection, would be glad to see the details of the look instead of the dancers.
Actually loved the collection though they thankfully left the obligatory black items for the end. These are not in the least practical designs but they are very beautiful and sexier than far more obvious collections. The creepy dancers were a terrible distraction. IMO

Liked it for the most part. Sort of. Not sure about combination of birkenstocks and gowns. I agree with others about dancers. Was it really necessary?
I had to watch the show multiple times in order to see the collection cuz the dancers were very distracting, and not in a good way, other than that, the lace dresses were actually quite nice. The rest of the collection can be thrown away into the dumpster, and while you're at it, BURN all of the denim looks 😒

Oh dear! Valentino, please! Is this place in London? Sounds familiar! FKA Twigs, my love, what on Earth are you doing there? You've accepted the wrong performance. That's not your place. I love the statues, although I'm appalled by the mix of it with those strong artificial lights. The place lacks the true essence of it. I guess that the artificial elements in the background have ruined it. A shame! No dress code for the public? What on Earth happened to the fashion industry? Dancers? Really? No, not in the middle of the walk, nor during the whole show. Too many models at once on the stage. Wrong! I can grasp some potential in the looks. They have structure, harmony in the tailoring butttttt, you fail at the size of the dresses. I'm trying to figure out the concept in your mind Valentino. Although it might be related to the statues theme, the shortness of the dresses is a big no. Also, mixing two types of fabric and style can be confusing, unless you keep the same central theme, which I think you failed. I like the flat shoes. The music is out of the context. I don't like so many people at a fashion show.

Помню показы, где девушки шагали по подиуму блистая, покоряя сердца загадочными взглядами или неотразимыми улыбками. Смотришь и думаешь, они бы тебе халат в 300рулей за 1000 баксов продали, ты бы и глазом не моргнула и чувствовала себя королевой в этом халатике. А это что... мертвые взгляды, во всём показе самое интересное это само место, колонны и стены, скульптуры( готова поспорить, что лица у статуй живее смотрятся, чем у некоторых манекенщиц), даже странные танцовщицы (зачем они здесь? отвлекать внимание ? странное решение, если они конечно уверенны что коллекция хорошая), которые никак не ассоциируются ни с Валентино ни с высокой модой и то интереснее чем коллекция и модели, судя по лицам которых они тоже от коллекции не в восторге.

My policy since the beginning of the year, is to view all these shows without sound, so I can focus of the creations. Whose bright idea was it to have these movement people as part of the show. They were annoying and underwhelming. I can not even comment on the show because they were distracting to my appreciation of what the designer was aiming for.
I was too distracted by the interpretative dancers at the central podium. What the designers should have done was to mount projector screens showing off the detailed artwork as the models paraded. The visual experience would have been phenomenal. Additionally, they could have clusters of sofas and club chairs, with waiters serving wine and finger foods (pupus).
The cutout embroideries which embellished the tops and dresses were stunning as cruise ensemble.
Absolutely loving this collection the craftsmanship is amazing!

Понравились кружевные платья, красный кружевной тренч и сумки-браслеты.
Кому не зашли биркенштоки - наденьте с этими платьями лодочки. Но образы потеряют изюминку и превратятся в среднестатистический гламур.

Очень красивая коллекция и совершенно бездарная организация шоу. Танцоры не нужны тут, ужасно отвлекают, дисгармонируют с коллекцией и антуражом. Зачем? Ну и качество съёмки, наряды невозможно рассмотреть. Обожаю этот бренд, поэтому особенно обидно за такую организацию.

Отими голими бабами в піску і болоті зіпсули враження від усієї колекції. На показі окремо існував сам показ і окремо оті дикі баби. Все зіпсували. Краще не додати куті меду, ніж забагато.. 😮

Beautiful collection. My favorites are the long tunics, long gowns and suits with pants. Also that fabulous crochet flowery and other patterns that float over the skin. I have seen that crochet pattern floating over the skin also in gold jewelry design.

I loved cutout 3-D flowers, ornaments, especially red cut out flower dress is to die for. At first, I thought that the color palette was a bit dull with lots of white dominating, but later I felt like there was a splash of crystal pink, vibrant red, summer rain, even teal. I was enticed with gentle opening of colors. Some patches of black felt out of summer palette, but the designs were relevant. There also was some play with maxi and mini. Few denim examples, especially loved cut out jeans. Some pieces were regal and flowing like the wind, very epitome of nostalgic feminine beauty. Overall, several fresh ideas, old classic with new twist, gentle and not overwhelming collection regarding colors. Enjoyed the show very much.

Some stand out pieces but overall I don't love it. Something about it felt incoherent...the dancers, maybe? But beyond that, the collection...the white laser cut minis looked cheap while the tunic pieces and maxis gowns seemed luxurious. I'm confused?!!!
