    Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $400k portfolio is down by approximately 20 %, any recommendations to scale up my ROI before retirement will be highly appreciated.

    • @mihirrao9537
      @mihirrao9537 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      this very point of the big tech firing people is absolutely baseless. firstly its a highly elastic employment market. today they get fired and forget tomorrow, in the next one hour these techies get jobs elsewhere. That's how lucrative their Resumes are and hence, the tech companies don't worry about firing them...(only in the USA) second, tech companies don't fire people, the fire projects. tech is so dynamic and changes so fast, unlike the business of adani or TATA's where work is industrial and requires patient capital and labour. so don't compare adani to facebook and google. blue collar jobs to white collar. and to answer your question of 'How many".i don't know... do you? does it even matter.

      Account books need to be transparent as needed not open for Western entities. There's a difference in how it's worded.
      This wording is why people hate hindenburg and support adani.
      There's a Indian idealogical demography called collaborators :- these collaborators helped few thousand British rule millions of Indians. These collaborators shot and killed Indian before 1947 and became part of bureaucracy after independence.
      The collaborators seek eternal approval from the imperial Whiteman.
      The present ruling party hates these collaborators. So whenever you see news on India try to look at this perspective. An ideological war between the old establishment and new political power.

    I'm not sure how it impacted India in any way. Mr. Adani started working with over a $1.50 in hand in the streets of Mumbai and his business and company is robust even with immense debt. He is trying to buy his comperitions using those debt. There is no law saying that you can't buy your own shares to keep the prices. This is usual tactic of public companies. Just think of Rockerfellar family. How many offshore companies and trusts and funds have their money distributed. Another thing to notice is that every nation and their ministers needs entrepreneurs to build a nation. Have Hindenburg invested a single dime in India? They are only known for shorting. They would short their own stock if they want to.
