Had a lexus got a bmw going back to lexus for this exact car. I can live with up to 1 second slower...we all know why. Lovely car
very nice steering wheel and good pov experience but the sun shade was blocking the view most the time

Thanks for the video! You should consider sitting closer to the steering wheel, it feels like you can barely reach it (; and maybe put the camera somewhere on the car so we can see where you are going. Cheers

What kind of mileage is it on now?
Anything major gone wrong on it?
The Hybrid cooling fan needs cleaning around 60k have you done that yet to extend the main battery life prevent it from overheating.
The car have 104k not a single issue

Finally I got a chance to drive one, Have you switched to Sport then switch to S1 & then floor it? Its pretty quick I was quite surprised. I know its not designed to be a race car but it responds well if needed from a standstill. Such a smooth effortless drive.
This is cvt so switching in to manual not making any difference .... 🙂
@@ORCChannel if you still have the car try it, because when you switch from D to + it lands in S2 by default. Acceleration is restricted but then switch to S1 & put your foot down it pulls like a train. I dont know if its the Electric motor coming on early or if it lightens up the traction but it does go well. Re the CVT your right its just one gear but it works pretty well in my opinion. Thanks for your replys been useful getting info from an actual owner.
@@AA-os1sg I will try, but also very important to touch gently acceleration to make petrol engine run .. because you loae abou 0.5 sec until it's starts..

@@AA-os1sg yes I did... Actually from the start I didn't feel huge difference,but when driving and use paddle shifters I noticed much faster for some reason...

City 38 motorways up to 60 , no issues at all ... Some day maybe hybrid battery will die but some day.... 🙂

@@AA-os1sg this one 300h more for fuel economy so it's a bit sleepy... Basically it's same 0-60 time like bmw 320d

@@ORCChannel that’s car faster then F30/G20 320d 0-200km/h , u can get around 8 sect to 100km/h ,just with 1 pedal ,after 100km/h this car beat any Germans 2L diesel. Yea 320d gonna make 0-100 around 7.4 sec,but u need to use launch control ,and rape u gearbox.

This 300h my own car, I'm very happy with it ,noise isolation is very good so you almost not hear the engine noise... So theres no much complaints about cvt gearbox... Only complaint maybe about power, if only this engine have little bit more power it will be perfect car.
The gearbox sounds lame , really weird sounding, car has enough power bit cant put it down, probably down to tbe gear box, everything else is great, love the looks , car let down by gearbox though

Can you confirm if the rear tyre wear is a problem? All reviews iv read state its a common fault for the tyres to wear out less than 15k due to inner shoulder wear. Lexus factory toe causes it?
Yes indeed all four have problem.. but the problem is that nobody in uk can do proper wheel alignment, I hear that there is company in london I think they call mr aligment ... So it takes 5 minutes for them to figure out how to do proper alignment for this model .. but yes lexus have this problem ,I think it's because of old bushings....

To add its interesting because looking at MOT advisories from previous years reveals an awful lot of these cars have this issue at first I thought lazy owners but its evident somethings not quite right.

How is the fuel efficiency in a normal day like motorway and city combined?
I have it and in mixed drive I've gotten 5,8l/100km. I've driven it about 2500kms so far. It's very economical.
How does it handle going up hill, incline etc? Does it pull well?

It's plenty enough power in every situation...

Great car I use my one for taxi work. Only problem had is sticky rear calipers at 130k other than that so reliable. Not as economical as my previous 1.5 Prius but obviously this engine is 1000cc bigger so not fair to compare it's roughly 11mpg down on the Prius
