Toyota Blizzard on the Elbe Trails 1/27/17

This is my most recent vehicle purchase. It is a 1989 Toyota Blizzard 4x4 Turbo Diesel that was imported from Japan to Canada then brought down to Washington state and now I own it. This is the first real test to see what it can and can't do. I bought a winch for it and I've got a tube bender so I can build a tube front and rear bumpers and rock sliders. So far this rig is very unique and works great! Currently it has Toyota hilux axles, 10" bilstien shocks and 31x10.5 M/T tires. Front axle has locking hubs and the rear is open, possibly getting a Detroit locker for it.

i have a 1988 blizzard wagon with a stock 4cyl 2LT turbo Diesel, it sounds nothing like yours, what do you have in it?

Haryo Dwipo Thank you, yes it's a stock 2l-t engine. I have an intercooler to put on and it already has a larger aftermarket radiator that doesn't quite fit as well as I want it to. Also a short dump pipe exhaust off the back of the turbo

oooh now i know the secret of that delightful spool, that would be nice reference for mine
by the way i need some advice or opinion, i also have an ld 20 just like yours, and i mind to swap the old 2 l-t to 1 kz-te with bj-40 axles or stock 4runner rigid axles, is that worth it?

Haryo Dwipo I have no idea, these were never sold in America. This truck was imported from Japan and it already had 88' Toyota hilux axles under it with asin front locking hubs. I don't know anything about these engines or drivetrain but I am a mechanic and can fix whatever breaks
