I absolutely love the flowers and plants there. They are perfectly manicured. Just gorgeous! I love the historical homes and buildings, too. Great video!
Great Vlog , I have to complement the both of you on the cinematographer . How you captured the beauty of the day and the food is so amazing. My husband and I really enjoy your channel. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful adventures
Love the Amish way of living, simple and basic. Such beautiful grounds. Love the animals too, especially the little goats playground. Thanks for that wonderful tour J & B. You two are awesome!
Amish people have always been very hard workers they live off the land grow their own food usually the women baked breads and pies the men usually does a lot of woodworking there's a place I go to and at Clarksville Tennessee and Guthrie Kentucky state line there's a lot of Amish people that live up there and I go up there and get bread and cakes they have a little restaurant that's open sometime but this young generation of kids we have this day and time needs to go spend about a week with the Amish and they will find out what works all about hard work I highly respect these folks I'll keep doing what you're doing great job
Very interesting, I would guess that Amish farming is a hard life, but rewarding in the beliefs they hold. I spent a week in Lancaster county a few years back and we never went to tour the Amish Farm and Home, now I wish we had. Thanks for sharing so much of it with us, oh and I'm with Bobbi, those corn mazes terrify me, I have such a fear of going in and not being able to find my way out.
You were brave going into the corn maze. I will not go in it. The rest looked fun. I have stopped at that Target quite a few times and knew the farm house was next door. Thanks for showing it to me. Really enjoyed this video.
That tour was so informative and entertaining. You two are a great pair. Really well done. We use to live near a Amish community but things weren't open to the public. Learned a lot from your tour. Have never been in a corn maize. May give it a try now.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful tour, guys. I was shocked to see a Target right next to The Amish Farm. I think the last time I visited the area was in the early 90s and a couple of times in the 70s. The place sure has changed. I can't believe the county officials would allow an eyesore like that. After looking at Google Maps at the areal view, I can see that the farm is surrounded with commercial buildings, that might be a reason why no one is there. I guess money is more important than preserving historical culture and beauty. I just hope big business doesn't push the Amish off their land. Your videos might one day be the only remembrance of the Amish people, so keep those beautiful videos coming.
We had a icebox with the ice man coming almost daily..We had a wringer washer and hung our clothes out. My grandfather ran a blacksmithing shop under our Irish name Quinlivan.
What a fun day and educational tour of the Amish lifestyle. I liked the schoolhouse. It reminds me of Little House on the Prairie. Great job again, guys. 💕
That was quite interesting. I really appreciated seeing the pictures taken from inside of the house. The rooms were quite sparse. We took the house tour years ago but Target wasn't there then. It just doesn't seem right having a Target so close to an Amish homestead!
That was really interesting. The areas with the flowers were really nice. The goats are always fun to watch, but the goats here were pretty mellow. Usually when I see them, they're jumping around all over the place, on top of each other. Just remember, when you get tired of being Amish...there's always Target. 😆
Hey Guys!! Loved the tour of the Amish house!! Not sure I could have done the maze It’s amazing how hard those women & men work everyday I hate my washer & dryer , but it’s better than the one like my grandmother had Keep up the great work Love all your vlogs!! John, nice job on the scooter TCB 🎶🎶
Bobbi and I have sooo many things in common I've learned through watching your videos over a year or so. I don't like being closed in either.I don't like elevators. I probably would have taken a machete to.that corn maze.😳😂😂
Love the Amish videos if ya'll ever get a chance i live by a Amish town it's called Shipswanna Indiana they have a lot of country music acts that come something you might enjoy. 👍👍
It’s like a reality time capsule, day’s of olden, very beautiful and captivating it must have a nice feeling not being tied down to the materialistic world of today. Loved this video, all the darling animal’s, the peacock 🦚 wanted out, he wished he could explore and 💭 what fun he’d have. Lol never a corn maze or corn field at night in the pitch black after watching the movie signs. Try it John lol 😂 After seeing this movie I couldn’t even be in a corn field during the day alone let at night nooooo way. Thankyou so much for this video, it’s fantastic.
So glad you enjoyed it. It is a different world here. When I am in a corn maze I think of the movie Children of The Corn. Thanks for the nice comment 😎 😎
Where is this one located? On route 30 or do you have to turn off on the road to Strasburg? Children of the Corn freaked me out! I watched it when I was about 17 and home alone. They have a milking cow like that in Dutch Wonderland, or at least they used to. Lol 😂 😎
It's true that Amish people don't like to be photographed, but their children do play with dolls that have faces. American Girl dolls are very popular with them!
Big companies should be required to have to build their stores so many miles away from farmland/historical houses! That is just ridiculous! Shame on target! Sometimes I want to move out to the country but it has occurred to me that some company could just buy up all the land next to us and build a hideous factory or something.
That was fun, love Lancaster we like the Good and Plenty Restaurant. We love you two.
Great area to visit and eat. Thanks for watching 😎 😎
I remember going there as a kid i. The 80s and target wasnt there. I cant recall what was there then. We visit the area alot and buy from the amish

The wood carvings are delightful, loved you filmed these as the roosters and chickens were so cool.
I can't imagine the time it took to make those roosters .😎😎

Yes Bobby. I panicked it one. Anxiety attack. I was about at the end but had to holler for help. They came in for me. Never been in one since. Lol.
That would be me if I was in a corn maze to long. Thanks for sharing your story. Nice to know I am not the only one that panics. Lol😎😎
This is Great. Love the Amish. They are very interesting. Thank You for this video. Looks like you had a good time. Love this channel. 💕

Remindes me of a Amish Museum , hence very clean and organized , its amazing how well they lived with such little they had ! Great Video ! Peace out.
I know they just have what they need to live. We enjoyed the tour of the house.😎😎

We like this one better . When we were here, they had The BBQ Barn. We have a video on it. We need to get back to Lancaster it is a beautiful area. 😎😎
