@@howsittastes 90s players being more physical is just one of the many reasons why they are better than modern players, the current🧁era is mentally weak, they don’t care about revealing their weaknesses because everyone is buddy buddy and good friends, there’s no sense of urgency to compete, every team is homogenous playing the exact same, no identity among the league, clowns get blown out by 20 points then swap jerseys, smile😃and take pictures, they’ve destroyed the All-Star game, this era has the most ever 2-0, 2-1 and 3-1 blown leads, modern players carry the ball and get away with full arm extended push-offs on handcuffed defenders who can’t hand-check going into a wide open paint, failed to win Gold in 2002, 2004 and 2006, couldn’t even win Bronze in 2023, it’s Not that other countries are better, it’s that American fundamentals & intangibles are garbage.

NBA, NFL recognize that todays generation is soft and weak, so they present them with soft, weak rules/leagues to cater to their mentality. Past generations were taught to not show weakness, get up and go to work every day, loyalty, so our sports reflected that. Great video, I hope everything changes after LeBron is gone, but the reality for me is that I'm almost done with the NBA, the flopping, the lack of fundamentals, the lack of rules implemented and the media saying these are the most skilled and athletic players ever when they sit for many games for a bruise (that for a kid is a "booboo") compared to players just few years ago playing with injuries, is just not how I use to see NBA basketball!

I can't stand the media with their bullsh-t lies and brainwashing. I watched Michael Jordan play in the 80s-wizards and I watched LeBron play from highschool until now and I'm sorry but LeBron is NO MJ and that is a fact. I lived it and witnessed it. It wasn't like this when I was growing up. Analysts, players and broadcasters gave the utmost respect for the players who came before. Michael Jordan still has never called himself the goat whereas lebron has said it multiple times. Sorry for rambling but this topic pisses me off because it made me hate one of my favorite sports

I was playing ball with a good friend of mine the other day and he was telling me he's gonna give the NBA one more season then he's done with it, no effort, he said, it's just mostly one action from 3 point after another, with close to zero defence, at least during the playoff it was more exciting but in the last few years not even that, not to talk about the All star game which is worse than a clown parade!!! I One thing is that people expect to put LeBron on top of MJ (and maybe it a top 20 but there are many more players even in his era to be much better than him as players and for the attitude than him!) but at the same time not follow the same standards MJ is held to, to be like MJ, aside not answer like a moron during post games interview, not be a mercenery and not throwing under a bus every "minimum" teammates of his, one must be at the least a total master in fundamentals, have a top notch court vision and be undoubtedly the best two way player at least in his own position on and off ball, while be the best scorer, LeBron is not even remotely like that in anything and I don't really understand the reason why the media are covering for him unless they are paid to do so, which is a disgrace but at least is understandable in a very selfish-with-no-standards kinda way!

It’s almost mine blowing that I feel like I don’t even live in the same country. And how soft American men in this new generation have become.
