Bleu is simply gorgeous! Im considering getting a ringneck, but Ive heard so many negative things about them! I just want him to be a good family pet and bond with every member of the family. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you and kisses to Bleu!
Thank you so much! He really is a wonderful bird! I hand raised him from a baby and he is very attached to me. He gives me very gentle kisses all the time. I thought about breeding him but I am afraid if I do so I will loose him and his wonderfull personality! I will film him again soon. =)
@Struckbygold Hmm what negative things? IRNs are open-bonded: They don't form exclusive bonds. So more likely to get along w all members of a family, if all are equally kind and interactive with them. Closed-bonded parrots like Amazons and Cockatoos can get aggressively possesive of their "mate" or human, reeking havoc on a marriage or family. My 2 male IRNs were equally friendly to anyone friendly to them. And got along great w eachother.
i did have one and yes they do get along if you introduce them at the right age. i have 3 cockatiels and a cat and they all get along and play well together. my ringneck died of cancer a few years back and have not had the money to get a new one. they do require allot of attention more so than tiels. the only issue i had with mine is he got into a bad habit of biting on cords and i was always worried he would electrocute himself

Bleu is so fantastic with his words! Hes amazing and seems to not miss any words that he is so into the words he learned. It is again like hes laughing under his breath doing that clicking ...kind of like a hahahaha....thing. Id love to have a talking bird like bleu. I like when he repeats where is mommies pretty bird. And then he does that cute laugh like you taught him. Unbelieveable! Great job!😄😄😙😚
