Thanks for providing us with another episode of vicarious excitement. It's also useful for those of us who want to do the route one day. What camera did you use & where is it mounted? An Teallach one day?
Glad it could be of some use for anyone wishing to try it. I used a GoPro 3 on a headstrap, felt a bit awkward to start giving the size!!!. I didn't think my 5 session battery would've lasted tbh. Yeah for An Teallach (not this year unfortunately) as only footage i have was on a 4mp Olympus camera lol
Scary as hell You wouldn't catch me up there Really dangerous and bypass path is even worse one slip gone goodnight Vienna Good on you if this is your thing though Just hope it doesn't encourage inexperienced adventurers to try this
W're i Torridon in May & hoping to do this scramble then, so thank for sharing the POV of the pinnacles. Can't wait now. Cheers
Hope you have a great day out doing the ridge. Glad my POV can be of assistance.
Bravo for not bypassing the narrow rock at the end. 39.05.
Great video, the views and weather as well.Would love to do this one day.If only I lived closer
Your videos are awesome mate! Thanks for sharing it. Looking forward to seeing An Teallach next year 😎
Wow ! Great stuff. So that's what it's like up there on Liathach. Seems physically strenuous as well as intimidating. Enjoyed the video, thanks.
I don’t know if I can see myself doing these paths. I couldn’t even thread the needle on the Cobbler

There is a bet route. You missed on Munro I think
That was amazing. How would you compare it to the Aonach Eagach route? There seemed to be similar challenges and level of difficulty?
Very much Charles, I'd say AE is slightly more difficult as Liathach ridge has more side paths avoiding some difficult sections.
@@DamonRitchie yes I see your point that if required there are the means to bypass some of the more demanding sections. Thank you.
Sorry see you getting that now
How hard would you rate this relative to other grade 2 scrambles? In my Munro guide it rates this as grade 1.5, does that seem fair to you?
Probably as you can bypass alot of the harder bits
Looked terrifying, great video, looks very hard going, think my Meindls would need to be substituted for something a bit more pliable.

@@michaelcameron2292 If you've never been up there how do you know it's "really dangerous" or what the bypass path is like?
