When people ask me what I do for living I get offended and don't know what to say because I can't work due to mental illness.

@nemesisgenius People discriminate against the poor, unemployed, aged, disabled, sick all the time. As you notice people that are employed, they also notice the unemployed.
Certain living habits show up in both groups, so it's easy to tell without shameless prying.
I don't care how people support themselves, I got my own business to handle.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m so nervous to work a 40 hour job but I know I need to because that’s what people do, it’s just nice to hear others who find “normal” life difficult sometimes

I want so badly to work again!! My mother wants me to be on disability and my family wants me to work from home or do rideshare to get income coming in. My memory loss sucks and they have discovered that it is 100% my mental health and autoimmune disorder as the cause. I wish you wellbeing in every way.

It is fine to speak, and let this out, it is alright to share. With others your health issues, so many others do suffer from these symptoms but they di in silence which may exacerbate the situation, I wish you a quick recovery, be always brave, also try to find somenone to listen to you and who can follow the details of your experience.. It will be very helpful
