- This was recorded on December 24th 2014 and shows the Norad Santa Tracker's path across much of the UK.

Just for fun, I recorded Santa's journey over the UK to see which towns and cities he flew directly over (it was in some respects more interesting in what he missed!!).
Like I said - this is just for fun and no copyright is intended at all regarding either the video or the music. If there are any problems and I am notified of such then I will take this video down.

Currently watching this in September 2021 as it was in my recommended, the route in the UK didn't really change until 2019 I think where Southampton and Durham were places and Bakewell got removed
I'm still a little sad though because I live in the West Midlands region and there's still no stop anywhere here, kinda weird as Birmingham is one of the biggest cities in the UK
At least now with the route going from Cardiff to Durham (I think) he sorta flies over this area
Also idk why but I think that the layout of the tracker looks way better in 2014 than it does now
I live near Birmingham too and im sad theres no stop there too

just feel it, your coming home after a long day at the mall, you hurriedly rush to your room, you turn on your laptop, searching norad santa tracker, you spend hours on it until you realise its late, and he is near your area. you rush to bed. | damn i miss this feeling hope christmas comes sooner!

Did you use a certain program or app to video this?
+Renee Terrion I used Screenflow on my Mac but there are many other good quality screen recorders available for both Apple and Windows available - some I believe are even freebies! What was tricky with this video was the speed at which Santa was travelling and of course the more I zoomed in, the faster he moved making it difficult to keep up with him at times! If I try this again I will probably stick to the 3D and I just realised - it is now Christmas Eve!!!

+Renee Terrion Just looked on the App Store and searched for "Screen Recorder" - There are some and the first one that came up had really terrible reviews. Just trying one called Pro Recorder (Free) by Njuyen T Nam Giang as it has better reviews, I will post again in a few minutes.
That's a failure - sorry. That app only gives you the opportunity to download videos from sites such as TH-cam etc and is not an actual screen recorder at all. I did keep digging but the other apps appeared to be the same or were just regular cameras.

+Renee Terrion - Thanks - I may well monitor it again this year to see if it is a re-run or a different and updated route. North Wales, West Midlands (inc. Birmingham!) and East Anglia were seriously neglected - the poor children still waiting there for Santa! Of course they cannot make him go everywhere but that was not well planned - will be interesting to see if the same happens in the countries that you mention.

Sold into is not a county the only country's in England are Scotland, England , Wales and Northern Ireland , spaldings in the uk but it's not a country
