I hung out with a friend of mine at her house and at one point she was super overwhelmed, needed to take a phone call and handle a couple things. I remember holding her 25lb 12 month old son because he was fussing so badly & my own 12 month old daughter at my feet crying to be held 🤣 fun times

@@rondazug9967 the reason people refer to toddlers by months is because there's a huge difference in development between short amounts of time. I don't plan on counting months when she hits 2 lol and the majority of the time I refer to her as a year and a half. But again, all of this will make sense if you have children one day! ❤️👍
@@familyoffour247 my son is a year old, well if it were to be technical id say 13 months. I understand the reasoning but for some reason I never understood why but this makes more sense. A parent but still learning, little & big things ❤️

My kids are 10 and 13, and even now, if I'm hugging one, the other will come over and - jokingly - push the other one away and say 'my mummy!' They find it hilarious and I love it.

My daughter used to hate when I was nice to another kid. She would always get a pout on her face and when I moved away from them, she would come grab my hand. Until our second baby came along, she didn't want anyone to touch me; not her mom, my mom, anyone.

When my daughter was around 19 months old, a friend with a daughter around the same age came for a visit. My baby met her at the do ao my friend picked her up. Her daughter looked at her, and then crawled over to me and held her arms up. So picked up my friends baby, who then gave a my daughter a amug look, as if to say. "Ha. Now i have your mom!"
