You do it from the inside, not the outside it protects from elements and damage
Optic500 Inside sun strips are regular window tint. Exterior sun strips actually block the sun instead of tinting it

Sunstrips are commonly put on the outside... having to fit it around your rear view mirror is a bitch!
That air release technology didn't do well even in this demo video! Big obvious crease there. 2:25 "S'alright. It's all good." *No no no! It's shit, do it again and edit it!*
