Aye, it’s definitely kinda speak volumes when this divisive third entry is the favourite of Erebonia’s detractors (no joke, they leave Cold Steel 3 alone, and punch 1, 2 and especially 4), that and well…that now tied to Sky 3rd for also being a contentious 3rd Got me at the rant with Lechter’s handling 😂, when Xigbar in hindsight seems to have an edge despite looking like a pawn of Xemnas and Xehanort, and that was before that…TWIST…in 3, and yeah this game does suffer on the easy side and while you didn’t demonstrate it, the Brave Orders in CS3 can break the game at points, mostly due to the low cost and OP effects (Millium’s White Decoration and Sara’s Lightspeed Flash) hence the nerf in Cold Steel 4 But regardless of its flaws, I still really enjoyed on what’s essentially another calm before the STORM title
Interesting how this one gets called out the most cause honestly after finishing all 4 id say 1 is the weakest title. Glad ya liked the bit, happy to know my humor in these videos is slowly improving as time goes on! And xigbar was a goat ngl! Plus yea i probably could have gone into just how busted the orders got as the game went on And true, its got flaws but i still super enjoyed it
@@Crimsonrosso I don't agree in the slightest. Its mid in CS. CS 3 can be insufferable at times. Esp. if you're trying to 100% on a full playthrough. The enemies are the worst. The story is slow and plodding. CS 1 is less polished yes, but polish doesn't denote quality. In fact, graphics can often void the charm of a game. It is just not engaging. Only thing positive I can think of, is the Arianrhod fight. Which is just a 3D Crossbell fight. The only game so far that I finished, that I'd consider worse, is From Zero.
@@OneManCastimo cs1 is the weakest due to its characters, class 7 is cool, but arcs like the laura fie arc in chapter 5 being just the worst, cs3 handles its cast so much better in comparison, cs1 has better pacing, but cs3 is much better overall to me

I loved 3 even with some of it's flaws. I think the graphical upgrade It's very nice! The 3D games finally look good and can compete with the 2D style! The music is like always God tier and the story and characters are all well written (for the most part). I loved the new class 7 very compact cast of characters, something I appreciated about Trails from Zero as someone who thinks Sky and Crossbell were Trails Kiseki peak and on top of that a new exciting villain with Osborne! Also that ending... Falcom really had the balls to create a ending cliffhanger what is so anime that my hair for a second turned SSJ style and I started speaking Japanese, that ending was just CRAZY! Falcom really said: yeah now you can wait 1 or 2 years not knowing what happened to Rean and his friends have fun baka! I love Falcom 🤣❤️
@@Crimsonrosso True, true although for us who are late to the party it doesn't have the same magic, you truly had to be their when Cold Steel 3 just released beat the game and afterwards spill out 20 curse words how you love and hate Falcom 😂 it doesn't have the same impact knowing you can immediately jump to CS4 but I still respect Falcom for doing such a crazy move!

I wouldn't called CSIII divisive at all, that title pretty clearly goes to CSIV and Kuro 2. I agree with the "won't be necessary" part, they wanted to give every member their time to shine but there was just too much. :D Also talking to people is the best part of Trails,(IMO) so for me things like the party in the palace is just simple amazing. But I'm glad that you enjoyed it, good video even if I don't agree with some parts. Eagerly awaiting to the CSIV one.
Fair, i mainly called it divisive cause before i played it i always saw moxed thoughts on the game lol. And yea they really needed to think of more ways to re introduce characters then just well that LMAO! And thats true, my favorite aspect of trails is the gameplay and story so those stop in your place moments kinda drive me crazy 😭 Thanks for watching, and the cs4 one ill try to get out faster as i just started the script
To me, it the lowest cs game still. I really didn't like the repeating themes of how the old class 7 reunites to save us in an nick of time, or how NOTHING carry over in cs2, meaning your romance to hot gals like sara/fie - she hotter in the new game - are deleted till cs4, and the BIGGEST CRIME ever, brining back someone they killed off, beginning the "no consquences" - well it started in azure but the character is an major one, and cs4 decide to do more -
